Pet care experience
Senior dogs are my specialty!
I have always loved dogs and have been taking care of dogs for my whole adult life. I adopted my first dog when he was 10 and cared for him until he passed at 16. I decided to start dog sitting again after losing him to keep dogs in my life since I’m not yet ready for my own again. I also hope to fill a niche in the dog sitting market for dogs that need extra care. I am very comfortable administering medications and catering to seniors unique needs. While seniors are my specialty I am open to caring for pets of any age. My clients find my experience with seniors beneficial to dogs with anxiety and disabilities as well.

I try to keep to your pet’s schedule as closely as possible to make sure they’re not too thrown by having the most important person in their life gone. I focus on enrichment and exercise to keep your pet busy and happy while you’re away.

Abigail is amazing! We have two dogs and a cat, and I can tell they all really enjoyed their time with her. One of our dogs is very anxious around new people and we were nervous to leave her, but she warmed up to Abigail so quickly. We got lots of updates and pictures. We’d love to have Abigail come back the next time we leave town.
She handled our dogs great even with their mishaps. She handled their anxiety well. Thank you Abby.
Abigail was great! She was very calming for my anxious senior dog. She followed all instructions and took extra care when giving him his evening walk.

Schedule
I’m currently going to school at OCC. Please inquire about my current schedule to see if I’ll be a good fit for your requested dates. Ideally your pets are ok being left alone for a few hours at a time, I’m never on campus all day.

- If your dog is reactive I’d love to know so I’ll keep my distance from other animals or people. I’ve also cared for older dogs that no longer need walks and just exercise lightly in the yard. Let me know about your pets diet so I make sure they’re healthy while you’re away.
