I just finished graduate school and will be free as I prepare for my examination. In the mean time, I will be spending a lot of time at home to study! I also work from home :) If I do leave, its usually briefly. My parents and grandparents help out while I am gone. It is irrefutably guaranteed that no one is going to be left alone.

Information Abigail D. would like to know about your pet

1. How many dogs will I be taking care of? 2. Will I be expected to provide extra services?(i.e. pet grooming, walking, training, etc.) 3. How do you deal with bad behavior & what expectations do you have for me when it comes to bad behavior? 4. How do you reward good behavior? 5. What are certain commands or words I should use for bad and good behavior? 6. Is your pet allergic to anything? 7. What should you do in case of a medical emergency? 8. What are your dog's triggers? What are they scared of? What will they react to? 9. Does your dog have any quirks I need to be aware of? (i.e. some dogs are terrible with walks) 10. Is there anything I need to keep an eye out for or pay more attention to? (i.e. pet tries to get out when the door opens) 11. Can your pet be left alone? For how long?

A typical day

We can walk in parks/scenic trails, play with their favorite toys (I'm especially good with tug-o-war), and do lots of lots of lots of belly rubs.

Pet care experience

Hiya! I'm just your bubbly girl-next-door who is eager to show love and care for any kind of K9 that enters her househould. I've had 7 dogs growing up which gives credence to this statement: your dog will see a friend in me; I am a friend whom they can run with at the park, play a game of squeaky toy tug-o-war or fetch, and give them unli-belly rubs with a side of cuddles, if they will. Sometimes we can roll around in my large, fully fenced back yard and chill in my living room while I play my guitar, read a book, or doodle some sketches. I enjoy taking LOTS of pictures and videos of them too so be prepared to be updated on the daily basis. I have brought all 3 of my current dogs to weekly basic dog training and canine good citizen classes. Im confident and adept at carrying out any training needs your dog may require and that you request. I'd like to emphasize that I love walking dogs! So if you have an active dog -- I can doubly ensure you that I will make sure they stay active during their stay! Just ensure me that they know how to walk with a leash (some dogs will try to pull me in 50 different directions at 50 million mph). Whether that be a little chase around the house or a mini hike in a scenic trail. If you have any questions for me, don't hesitate to ask any time about anything! P.S. My house is fully air-conditioned and they will get a bowl of fresh water daily! So you don't have to ever worry about them going into a heat stroke in my house (or outside).

Abigail did a great job with my dog Ranger. He tends to be nervous at first with new people, but Abigail took things slowly and Ranger warmed right up to her. She always provided an update after their walk. Would definitely trust her to take care of Ranger again.

Abigail was wonderful with my dog. She provided updates and pictures daily. Melody was provided a warm and loving environment while we were away. I would recommend Abigail for anyone looking for a caring sitter.
