Hi Dog lovers! My name is Abigail and dogs have been a part of my life since I can remember. Growing up I was responsible for walking, feeding and pouring attention into our two German shorthaired pointer dogs. When my neighbors would go on vacation they would ask me to watch their four dogs and I also became the 'go to' person when their dogs would get loose in the neighborhood. Fortunately, that never happened on my watch! My current dog is a high energy Pitbull Lab mix, who thinks he is a lap dog. :) Most of the dogs I have worked with have been in the 50-60 pound range but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Is your dog older? No problem, I can sit and give them lots of love or take them on a gentle walk. Is your dog high energy? Again, no problem, I have one of those of my own and I can play fetch or tug-a-war with them! I have no problem administering medicine if needed too. During the school year I work in a high school and coach swimming so my availability is from 3:30pm - 6:00pm, and anytime on the weekends. During the summer my schedule is much more flexible during the week and weekends. I consider myself a dog magnet because any time I encounter a dog, even for the first time, they like to jump on me or wiggle their butts, seeking my attention! Providing walks, belly rubs, and playing fetch are my jam. Dogs mean the world to me and I would love the opportunity to shower your fur babies with attention.
