I am currently in college studying to become a Veterinarian since it has always been my dream to help/take care of animals. I volunteer at the H.A.W.S. Humane Society in Waukesha when I can (when I am not in school or I have some free time). I help with transports (bathing and feeding) and walk dogs. If you decide to book with me, I will let you know my college hours and volunteer hours so we can make arrangements if needed. Please don't let my schedule turn you away from booking with me! I'm very flexible and I try to make time! I do not take animals into my home at this time, nor will I be housesitting at night anymore. For my client's home, I will make sure to take care of every single animal. I will be thorough and make sure that I get to know every animal and make sure that they are well taken care of and meet the requirements needed. I have a planner, so I like to write down all the animals the clients have and make sure I exceed their needs. This can include the type of food they eat/ how they eat it, or whether they need additional assistance with medications. I do oral medications from a syringe and chews. No shots!

If you need me to give your dog medicine for any reason, from allergies, injuries, etc. Please let me know. Please let me know what type of dog you have, and let me know if it has special needs. I want this information the first time text (on rover) or in person, so I can put it in my planner, so I am knowledgeable and prepared. I also like to know the little details about how to feed and bathe(if needed). What type of toys does he or she get? If he/she likes to be handled(from being picked up and carried), if he/she likes to be cuddled. If he/she likes going on walks or to the park, or car rides. I wanna be as compassionate as I can with your furry loved ones.
A typical day
I'd love to be active with your dogs! I love giving lots of snuggles and kisses! If you want your dog(s) to go on multiple walks or even go on car rides, I'm always happy to do so! If your dog needs training, I'm also happy to help with that!

My prices are firm, as I am trying to pay for college, and gas and mileage are included and are a cost factor. If you would still like to book the house-sitting, you can do so without being charged more for the 30-minute drop-in visits (: However, if you'd like to book through the drop-in visits, we can do that and arrange the price for longer stays. I've taken care of plenty of dogs and 1 cat since I was 7. I'm good with animals! I'm also good with aquatic animals. I have a Red Eared Slider turtle named Squirt, and she is 6 years old. So if you have fish tanks or any other reptiles in your home, besides dogs and cats, I am willing to take care of them, too. I am a super energetic, sweet, understanding person, and I like to invest my time in animals. It is very rewarding to take care of and watch your furry loved ones! I have over 18 years of experience due to growing up with all sorts of animals, from birds, hermit crabs, fish, cats, dogs, and turtles. Abigail took good care of our dog. She was reliable and responsible. She really went above and beyond the dog care related to some other needs that arose in our home because of a storm. She proactively brought the problems to our attention, offered to resolve them and followed through.

Abigail is a very responsible and kind sitter and always does an excellent job taking care of my kitty that needs to be given medication daily.
Abigail was absolutely amazing with my pets. She was super fast responding to my inquiry, and agreed to help us out even though it was very short notice. She was prompt and friendly at our meet and greet. She sent me thorough updates and photos every time she was at the house with my babies. She brought in packages and even took the trash out. The house was left clean and tidy and my babies were happy and healthy. Abigail dispensed medication to our senior dog and protected her from our rambunctious puppy. She even helped with our bunny and gave water to the reptiles. It was a bit scary having to find a new sitter last minute (our old one is no longer pet-sitting) so we could travel for a funeral, but it was such a relief to find Abigail and know my pets were in great hands. I didn’t worry about them at all. She totally put my mind at ease with her caring and thoughtful messages to let me know how things were going and she put a smile on my face with the cute photos she sent. I simply could not recommend her enough. I will definitely be using her again.
