Availability
I currently work 4 days weekly in Mount Pleasant, NC from 7:30am - 5:30pm with a one hour break mid-day and weekends off. My schedule allows me to see your pet at least twice daily (or up to three times depending on distance from my place of employment).

I take care to establish a personal relationship with every pet that I meet. Every dog, cat, or fish have their own distinct personality and the better I know them, the more personalized care I can provide. I can feed, water, clean up after pets, administer medication, walk, groom (for an extra fee), and even work on any set training that you would like kept up. My biggest priority is keeping you and your pet happy and healthy.

A typical day
My activities with your pet are based around their personality so tell me what your pets loves to do! For my more relaxed friends I can lounge about and provide company and scratches while sunbathing, or my more active friends and I can go for a trip to the nearest pet friendly parks/businesses for some extra stimulation and exercise!

Pet care experience
I’ve always had pets, and started volunteering with a vet at 14 and continued until I left for college. For a time I worked as a ranch hand taking care of 8+ horses and a menagerie of other animals. I am also a fully trained dog groomer and currently work as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with my canine friends of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, including those with special needs including medication administration.

Abigail has been taking care of our two elderly cats for the past couple of months, and she’s been fantastic. Our babies need a little extra care, and I’m so glad we found her to look after them when we’re away. We’ve previously had friends and family help look after them, but I have to say they’re being cared for much better now with Abi than they ever were before. She is reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Surprisingly, they also seem more relaxed with her than they are with me, so I may need to look into that. 😅 I highly recommend her if you want the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pets are in good hands.
Abagail did such a great job with my three cats and was accommodating to all my requests! I felt really safe knowing she has such an extensive background working with pets (grooming, vetrinary, and farm management) so I felt confident she could take care of my animals while we were away for a week. She did a great job and our pets were happy to see us when we got home! She has such a pleasant and kind personality; I will certainly reach out to her again the next time we head out of town.
