Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize safety and comfort for every pet, making sure the environment is free of hazards and doors or kennels and secure. During walks, I stay attentive to my dog and surroundings, guiding them away from cars, other animals, or anything stressful. I pay close attention to my pets’ mental state-offering space when needed, letting them approach me on their own, and engaging in play or pets according to their mood. I follow owner instructions carefully, maintain clean food and water bowls, and respect homes while keeping pets supervised to avoid accidents. I also communicate promptly if anything happens and strive to arrive a few minutes early to every visit.
Information Abigail B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs I should be aware of, such as sensitivities to certain surfaces, activities, treats, or anything else. If your dog has received training or is currently in training, please share the commands, gestures, or cues I should use, as well as actions to avoid(for example, overstimulating a dog that remain calm) and any areas they are are or aren’t allowed to go.
A typical day
When walking my dog, I like to stop to give them the chance to smell all they want, and walk various trails so they get more variety and exercise. If it’s a more energetic dog, I’m always up a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or even just running around outside.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with a yellow lab mix and various cats my whole life, and we’ve taken turns feeding, cleaning, walking, applying flee medication, and of course playing. I’ve also house sat on and off in Highschool for two huskies along with their three cats.

Reviews

Abigail B. was a fantastic sitter. She loved my girls and they adored her. She left my home spotless, even washed and dried all the dishes and put them away and vacuumed the carpet. Bayleigh Boo brings in sticks and makes quite the mess. Way over my expectations, sent me lots of photos and let my girls sleep with her. They are bed hogs but she didn't seem to mind. I will definitely hire her again.
Abigail faithfully walked my dog Ari for years! She took care of her sometimes when I was away. She played with her and loved her like she was her own! Ari loves Abby!
Abigail has loved all types of animals from a very young age. Her compassion and care are unending. She is also a very responsible young woman and shows respect for others. She grew up with animals and will be a wonderful, efficient and caring pet caregiver.
