Dog Boarding
Hello! We live in a lovely neighborhood in La Mesa. I work from home with the occasional errand to the grocery store, so you can be assured that your pup will not go long periods of time without someone at home. We spend a lot of time out of doors, and get in lots of snuggles on the couch as well. We welcome your pup into our daily routine, and do not limit where they can go, unless you wish us to do so. Our home is your pups home. We'd love to meet you and your pup prior to booking, but realize schedules don't always allow such luxuries, so we are open to last minute bookings. We limit the number of guest dogs per night, so your dog will get an individualized experience suited to their needs. Please let us know if you have any questions for us! We'd love to get to know you and your pup. Come visit us!

Talk about one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Abigail welcome our Moxie into her home during Christmas while we were away. She always kept us up to date and even helped by administering medications. We love our fur family and hated to leave them ,but knew Moxie was in capable and loving hands! Moxie was treated with an awesome yard to play in while we were away. We would definitely recommend Abigail and will definitely be using her in the future for our fur family needs!
Abigail was great with Gimlet. She adapted well to his sense of independence and took care of all his needs while we were away for 5 days. I would highly recommend Abigail.
Abigail, Bruce and Chewy were amazing caretakers for our dogs. We went out for a weekend trip and our previous Rover boarder had moved out of the area and we chose Abigail based on reviews and repeat customers, not to mention their smaller sized dog Chewy. When we dropped off the dogs their house was an open floor plan with a big backyard that the dogs seem to have full access too. It was a great environment for smaller dogs because you basically can keep an eye on them wherever they are in the house. When we dropped our dogs off, my older one had pulled a muscle and I was very nervous about letting him go, but they assured me they would keep an eye on the injury and keep him on light activity. Tons of pictures with updates were sent daily and you could see they were happy and found a new friend in Chewy. When we picked them up Abigail was ready with all their stuff and they were so happy, my older dog was even walking better showing they took great care of his injury. That night they were so tired that it made coming home a very relaxing evening. We will be re-booking in the future, and re-booking early since her schedule does fill up fast! As far as we can tell - Amber had a fantastic stay at Abigail & Bruce’s place. She came back really happy and was well cared for. Highly recommend !!
