Experienced and flexible dog lover
I’m new to Rover but an experienced dog-sitter and long time dog lover. Before I’m ready to have one of my own, I’d love to help out local owners and get to know some new dogs ☺️ I have experience walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for dogs. I’ve had family dogs growing up and my parents currently have a six year old cocker spaniel who I’ve looked after since she was a puppy. I’ve also been walking dogs in my local area for a while. I’ve regularly looked after a cocker spaniel and have loved getting to know him!

Abi and Dan have been looking after my dog, Bodhi, for over 18 months now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Bodhi absolutely adores them and is always excited to see them, which is all the endorsement I really need. They’ve built a wonderful relationship with him and always look after him with genuine care, patience and attention. Knowing that Bodhi is with Abi and Dan gives me complete peace of mind. Finding people you trust completely with your dog is rare, and I feel very lucky to have found them. They’ve become a really special part of Bodhi’s life, and the fact that Bodhi is always so excited to see them says far more than I ever could.

Schedule
I work full time Monday-Friday and can flexibly work from home. This means I can look after dogs during the day, including walks, play, feeding, toilet breaks, etc. While I’m in the office twice a week and usually busy a couple of evenings, I often have flexible/free time so feel free to ask for what you need and I’ll see if I can help.

Safety, trust & environment
I live with my partner, Dan, in a dog-friendly house with a secure, walled garden five mins from St George park, Avonview Cemetery, and near other green spaces. Your dog will be able to roam around the downstairs of the house and garden, and there’s room for them to have their own space if needed. You’re welcome to come and see the space.
A typical day
Depending on the dog and their needs, I’m equally happy out on a walk, playing with toys, testing them with enrichment activities, or snuggling with them on the sofa.
