I have dog sat many times and even trained to become a service dog volunteer. I have dog sat for a few month old puppies to 14 year old dogs.

abi was great, super sweet, and chill! so dedicated to making sure they were so happy with multiple walks on 606, she made a little bed couch for them to cuddle. also my doggies are hyper and vocal, and she took care of them no problem at all.

Schedule
My days are flexible, I work from home and love taking walks around the neighborhood during lunch break and after work. I have a wood turtle that likes to keep to himself in the terrarium, and most dogs and cats don't even know he is there. When I am pet sitting, I plan events and out of home activities, so I am no more than 3-4 hours away from the animals.

I am very attentive to dogs needs. We play inside and go on walks around the neighborhood on the 606 trail or go to Palmer Square or Humboldt park. I stick strictly to dog owner schedule and make sure to send owner updates! I live in a two-bedroom apartment with my sister, on the second floor so the dog would have to be ok mobility wise with stairs to and from the building.
A typical day
I like to go on walks at 606 trail, I live right next to it! On the weekends we can drive to other parks or dog parks depending on owners preferences!
