Your dog’s safety and well-being are our top priorities, and our home is designed to provide a secure, enriching, and stress-free environment for every pup that stays with us. Our fully fenced and cross-fenced yard gives dogs plenty of room to run and play while staying safely contained. But we don’t stop there—we have secure fencing inside our home as well, ensuring no pup can accidentally slip out an open door. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a cozy spot to relax, we take every measure to make sure they are always safe and comfortable. We understand that every dog is unique, and we believe in open, two-way communication with pet parents. If your pup has any special needs, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate! We’ve even cared for blind dogs before, and we’ll always take the time to ensure your furry family member gets exactly the care they need. Alongside our two friendly, well-trained Dachshunds, your dog will enjoy a warm, structured, and loving home where they can play, explore, rest, and receive all the attention they deserve. Whether they’re chasing bubbles in our pet-safe play areas, relaxing in our cozy spaces, or enjoying a homemade treat (with your approval), they’ll always be closely supervised and cared for as if they were our own. When your pup stays with us, you can rest easy knowing they are in a safe, loving environment where they will be watched over, engaged, and truly part of the family.

From the moment your pup arrives, their day is filled with fun, enrichment, and plenty of love! After a warm welcome (and lots of tail wags), we start the morning with supervised playtime in our fenced and cross-fenced yard. Whether your dog loves to zoom around the agility course, chase the lure coursing machine, or play in the splash pad, there’s something for every pup to enjoy. Mid-morning brings a treat hunt or snuffle mat session, engaging your dog’s natural foraging instincts and keeping their mind sharp. At times, we also incorporate doggy art projects, like lick painting (don’t worry, it’s mess-free and makes for a cute take-home keepsake!). Then, it’s time for a well-earned midday rest, where each pup can relax in a comfy space of their choosing with soothing music and snuggles if they like. We have seven specially designed dog-friendly furniture pieces, along with our regular human furniture, giving your pup plenty of cozy spots to choose from (see pictures). Whether they love stretching out on a doggy couch, curling up in a plush and cozy pet cubby, or perching on a cushioned bench for the best view, they can pick a different nap spot every time—because every pup deserves options for ultimate comfort! The afternoon kicks off with bubble time! Our pet-safe, flavored bubble machine fills the air with irresistible scents for a fun, interactive game. After that, we mix up the activities—maybe a short walk, more playtime, puzzle toys,the automatic ball launcher or a round of training games to reinforce good manners. Before pickup, your pup enjoys some homemade jerky or a pup-cake (with owner approval, of course!) before winding down with some cuddles and quiet time. When you come to get them, they’ll be happy, tired, and ready to tell you all about their amazing day! For our boarded fur-babies, evening time is extra special! Your pup will get a gentle wind-down routine, including a warm homemade treat (with approval), snuggles, and quiet time before settling into a comfy, safe, crated-sleeping area. With someone home full-time and safety measures in place, you can rest easy knowing your dog is cared for, loved, and sleeping soundly—just like they would at home!
