We left our 5 month old puppy Dill with Abdon, which was the first time we EVER left Dill alone with a stranger. Abdon was the perfect person to watch Dill and Dill can not wait to go back! Abdon was very communicative and sent pics and videos of them playing together. Abdon even was willing to meet Dill and I halfway between our apartments to ease the commute time for me. Truly a great guy, not just a job for him, he truly cares about and loves hanging out with our pup. Will absolutely be a returning client!
Abdon has watched my two cats many times and they love him. I have one female and one male, both are 6 years old and he has watched them since they were 2. He takes wonderful care of cleaning their waterer and feeder and has even done a deep clean of their litter box on one stay. It’s also very clear he is an animal lover. Both go right to him when he arrives and my male cat, who almost never sits on laps, sits with him. We love Abdon!
My dog always loves spending time with Abdon. He is attentive, timely, and reliable. My dog is high energy and Abdon is sure to wear her out with long walks and play. Would recommend Abdon for all your pet care needs.
I met Abdon when he lived in my building in Brooklyn. He was an incredible dog owner to his own dog the entire time we were neighbors. I would see him routinely at the same exact time each morning when I left for work taking his little guy for a nice long walk. A few years and many NYC apartments later, I found myself with a pup of my own! Anytime I needed help as a first time dog owner Abdon was there for guidance and advice. He was reliable for assistance when I needed someone to care for my little lady, and the only person I trusted walking her as she is an animal testing survivor beagle with some quirky leash walking behaivors and a bad habit for eating things off of the street. Abdon has always been on time when I needed him to pick her up for last minute care and she is delighted to see him every time he comes by. He is a true dog lover, longtime New York dog owner, and the only person I trust to this day with my furry best friend!
Abdon is a true animal lover. I've seen him care for his two dapple dachshunds like they are his own children. I watched him care for his elderly 16 year old dachshund, Miles with love and patience. He is truly a dog whisper, but I would trust him with any type of animal. Finicky. Elderly. Anxious. He just has that pet instinct that so few people have.
Abdon is such a caring and detail-oriented sitter. He has so much heart and integrity and always goes above and beyond for us!!! Can’t recommend him enough :)

Schedule
I have a lot of time off during the week. I’m a professional drummer so I’m either fully available or I’m out of town. I have time to devote for my love of animals and care.

I live in a big one bedroom in Greenpoint with a big living room and kitchen. Plenty of room for a pet to feel comfortable and stretch out. I’m very keen on knowing when a pet is asking for something and or wants to use the restroom. I’m always up for a walk and or a litter box clean. I am a very kind and clean person and will treat your pet and home with the utmost respect.
