Hi! I'm an experienced, enthusiastic, and active pet caregiver who absolutely loves getting to know each dog’s unique personality and quirks. I’ve worked as a dog trainer and handler at a doggy daycare, and I’ve raised and trained my own pup—so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention it takes to provide the best quality care. I currently WFH and live in a house with a fun-loving 3-year-old golden retriever and a fat orange tabby cat (who honestly thinks he’s a dog). They both adore meeting new friends. Whether we’re going for walks, playing fetch, or just hanging out together, your pet will be treated with the same love, care, and attention I give my own—spoiled, safe, and happy!

Abby is wonderful! I always feel so at ease leaving my dog Sadie with her and Poppy for doggy daycare. Sadie is always so tired when she gets home :)
Abby is so wonderful! She sent a stack of photos each day with a write-up of how the day went which put me at ease while I was away. Her dog Poppy plays so well with my pup too, and I'm so happy that she had a friend to play with. Definitely recommend!!
Abby went above and beyond taking care of our dog. She kept him busy with plenty of activities and sent us lots of photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend!
Ellie had a great time with Abby! I appreciated the offer of a meet and greet before the sitting, so Ellie had the chance to meet Poppy and Sam and get familiar with the place! I got daily updates with plenty of pictures, and Ellie got plenty of exercise playing fetch and going on walks. I will definitely book with Abby the next time I go out of town!
Abby was a wonderful sitter for Sadie! She sent lots of cute pics and I felt that my pup was well taken care of. Her dog Poppy was very friendly too!

Schedule
I'm currently transitioning from wrapping up graduate school to applying for therapy/mental health advocacy jobs. I have the most availability and flexibility on my hands at this time, and what better time than Seattle summer!

Safety, trust & environment
I live alone with my 2 pets in a house with a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around or hang out in (always with my supervision). My neighborhood is quiet and residential, and just a 10 minute walk from Gas Works. I'm often home or itching to be outside with my dog- whether it's taking her to a dog park, on walks, swimming, hiking, or just hanging out in the yard. Both my dog and cat are very kind and easy-going, we've never had any issues when caring for other dogs! It's often hard to say bye at the end of stays.
Pets
A typical day
I love taking the dogs I care for to the dog park with my dog for some exercise and social playtime. If that’s not your dog’s style, I’m just as happy keeping them entertained at my home! I always encourage pets to make themselves comfortable, whether we’re playing chase or fetch in the backyard or enjoying walks around the neighborhood. With owner's permission, if your dog enjoys going on hikes, I'd be happy to prioritize and squeeze in a hike with your dog and mine during their stay. I can guarantee you'll be coming home to a worn out and happy dog!

- Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, medical needs, special considerations etc. It would be helpful to know if they've had any experience sharing a space with a cat before! If not, that is completely ok! My cat (Sam) has been many dogs' first cat exposures before, and if they're not vibing, I keep Sam in a separate room or he just finds a high place to watch and observe.
