I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have over 4 years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine. Most recently, I worked as an Oncology Coordinator at a specialty veterinary hospital in New York, where I cared for pets with a wide range of medical and emotional needs. I’m excited to be relocating to Fort Worth, Texas and starting my externship, which will give me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to connect with new clients and their pets. I’m looking forward to getting to know the local community while doing something I truly love. I’ve been an active Rover sitter since 2018 and have built a loyal client base through Rover, Facebook, and veterinary referrals. My background allows me to confidently care for senior pets, administer medications, and follow detailed care instructions, all while making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. With my background in veterinary medicine, I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy level and take a calm, patient approach with every pet. I ensure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, keep the home environment tidy, and make sure pets have fresh water and a clean, comfortable space at all times. I respect your home as if it were my own and aim to maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

Abby was amazing!! We felt so comfortable having Abby take care of Albert. She sent us pictures and hung out with Albert for a little. We’d definitely have Abby walk Albert again!!

Abby and our energetic pup, Fluff, got along great. I felt very comfortable leaving Fluff for the day and will definitely work with Abby in the future.
Abby took care of my cat Amos with twice a day visits while I was away for two weeks. She did everything she said she was going to do and communicated with me regularly, sending me photos of Amos almost every day (sometimes he was in hiding). This was a first time with Rover, and I was a little nervous, but I quickly realized everything would be just fine. I recommend Abby highly, and would be happy to have her take care of Amos next time.
Both our cats, Quince and Booker, my husband, Tom, and I rate Abby as the most excellent of pet-sitters. Professional, efficient, warm and kind, Abby fulfilled her duties far beyond the A+ we school teachers would give her. Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and am available for overnight stays, as well as drop-in visits and dog walks after work on weekdays. I’m also available on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests and am happy to work around your pet’s routine whenever possible.
