Pet lover!
I have had lots of experience caring for pets in my family over the years ranging all the way up to a Great Pyrenees. I have also assisted my sister is raising her large Pyrenees/ collie mix, helping to let her out when they were out of town, often taking her for walks in the evenings and even attending puppy classes with her. In the last two years I have taken in my neighbours shitzu in my home while they are on vacation as well as taken care of my cousins elderly Lab for a few weeks this year in their home. This included administering medication and sometimes assisting the dog to stand.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. I will ensure to listen to the instructions of the owner and listen to the body language of the pet always! My sisters dog is slightly reactive to other dogs on walks so I have lots of experience with staying back from other dogs, and re-gaining the attention of the dog before continuing on. I will never approach another dog without verbal communication from the owner on walks.

Abby is wonderful. Our dogs love her and she immediately bonded with them at our meet n greet. Very precise following our care requests for our two dogs snd we will definitely use Abby again!
Abby frequently cares for my large breed dog. Whether it’s running around in our backyard, or going for a long walk around town or on a trail, my dog is always very eager to spend time with her. Abby is great at handling my dog when she gets excited by other dogs on walks. Abby has also attended some dog obedience classes with us, and has picked up a few skills in that setting. We fully trust Abby’s capabilities with our dog!

Schedule
I work full time during the week however I am usually done by 4:30 and am headed out for a walk each evening. I’d love to have a companion to join me for my evening walks! I am also available to do drop ins in the evening and some weekends to let your dog out and spend some time with them!
