We've had Abby walk/ dogsit Timmy (he's an Akita/ Shepherd mix) many times over the past two years! She's now our first call whenever we're out of town or just need someone to take our puppy- son for a walk. Abby's reliable and always quick to respond, and clearly loves dogs (we're suspicious Timmy likes her more than his own people- parents). You can always trust her with your dog!
I don't think Abby is capable of passing a dog without greeting it: "hellooooo beautiful." She then turns to whoever she is walking with (often me) and says, "just look at how beautiful this dog is - can you even believe it??" Abby approaches every single dog in the world with total wonder and adoration. Not just this, she has ample experience managing dogs of all "social" capacities (i.e. the reactive, the unreactive ...
In addition to being an incredibly kind-hearted and reliable person, Abby is a dedicated dog owner to Eloise, her pitbull. Eloise is not necessarily the quintessential "easy" dog, but Abby's commitment to Eloise's well-being and training over many years shows just how wonderful and responsible she is with animals. Abby has a calming and intuitive presence to animals and humans alike and would be a wonderful choice for your pup!

Through countless hours of training with unlimited patience and unconditional love, she’s learned to better manage her anxiety/fear and let her best qualities show through. She might always be a difficult dog in some ways, but she’s ...
What Abby would like to know about your dog
I have no breed preferences, and I’m happy to hang with all dogs!
Before walking your pup, I would like to know about any reactivity they might exhibit. Are they comfortable with other people? With other dogs?
I generally prefer to meet new clients in person before beginning to work with them, but a phone chat is also fine if time is of the essence!
