My priority is the pets safety at all times, so making sure they have my full attention and all of their needs are met, including security and a trusting environment is very important to me. I would like to know of any medical issues that they have, ex: Medication they need or emergency protocols needed, Arthritis, allergies, physical restrictions, oral problems, injuries. Also any behaviour issues, if they are reactive to kids or other dogs. If the dogs needs a special harness, or needs to be walked a certain way.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to new areas they can explore. If they enjoy water, taking them to the beach or a pond. Throwing sticks or balls for them to fetch if the environment allows. If we are inside, setting up a lick mat or a game that involves treats (like hiding them in a pets blanket and allowing them to find it). Playing tug of war with them, or just allowing them time to have supervised solo play with their toys.

I have experience working and being trained in a Dog Daycare facility, and have volunteered for the humane society as well. Ever since I was 10 years old I’ve always had the responsibility of looking after my family pets. I’ve babysat and dog walked for family members, neighbours and friends. I’m very dedicated and passionate about animals of all kinds. Their safety and happiness is my number one concern.

Abby was absolutely amazing with our pups! From the start, she made us feel completely comfortable leaving them in her care. She was so attentive, caring, and thoughtful the entire time. She took them on lots of walks, sent us photo updates, and truly treated them like her own. Every message and picture showed just how loved and well cared for they were while we were away 🐾 Abby went above and beyond in every way, and it’s so obvious how much she genuinely loves animals. Our dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly spoiled with attention and affection. Abby is AMAZING! Our dog Ginny tends to get very excited and jumpy and Abby is incredible with her. She also takes the time to check in with me before the walk. We look forward to the weekly walks and check ins. I highly recommend Abby!!!
Abby did such an awesome job watching our two black labs. Between the walks, car rides, overnight stay, and frequent updates, it was obvious she really cares. We felt completely at ease and would love to have Abby back again (and so would our dogs!)
