Availability
Abby works a hybrid work schedule with three days in-office and two days working from home per week, and weekends off. Abby typically works from 8:30am - 4:30pm Mondays - Fridays, and Ryan works in person from 8am - 5pm Mondays - Fridays. On the days Abby is working in office, Ryan is able to go home at lunchtime (around 12pm) to let out dogs and ensure they get a potty break.

When your pets are with us, we treat them like we would our own! We have a very large, spacious backyard, however it is not fenced-in. We do have a long leash which allows dogs to run around the yard (always supervised) and play fetch. We also recognize the importance of continuing training, so we are happy to continue to use commands or continue other training while you’re away. We believe that a tired dog is a happy dog, so we try our best to ensure dogs in our care receive enough physical and mental stimulation throughout the day. We also recognize that this is important for many cats, and we are happy to cuddle, play, or just be in the same room as your cat, depending on their preferences (because they can all be different!).

A typical day
We know it’s important to keep dogs engaged - a tired dog is a happy dog! We love going for walks and runs both around our neighbourhood and on hiking trails. We also love running around with a ball and playing with dogs in the backyard. Chew treats and mental game toys are also great for dogs, and we love to give these to dogs in our care especially if I know we need to leave them alone for a while.

Hello! Our names are Abby and Ryan. We’re a young couple who just bought our first house and while we love pets we can’t currently afford to have any of our own so we get our fix through pet sitting! We’ve both grown up with pets (cats for Abby and dogs for Ryan) and we have pet-sat for a variety of family friends for the past 4 years. We know it can be tough finding the right people to look after your pets while you’re away, so we’re happy to meet with you and your pets to determine if we’ll be a good match before we confirm a booking. We offer pet sitting in our house, and we take just one client at a time, so your pet(s) will have all our attention! We’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes as well as cats. We also know you may miss your pets while you’re away, so we’re happy to provide regular updates with lots of photos to ensure you have peace of mind that your pet is in great hands!

This was our second time leaving our elderly lab with Abby and Ryan and once again she got the best care. We appreciate knowing our pup is in safe hands when we are away.
Our boy settled in with them quickly and was very happy and tired when we picked him up. Abby and Ryan stayed in touch and sent pictures and updates which really help ease our anxiety. Very flexible with pick and drop off. We will absolutely use them again
