Dogs have always been a part of my life — from growing up in a home full of wagging tails to starting dog sitting in my 20s. I’m now 47 and have over two decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. For the past 18 years, I’ve been a stay-at-home mom to my two kids, which means I’m home and available to give dogs the time, attention, and love they deserve. Over the years, I’ve also fostered 14 dogs through Wags & Walks of Nashville, helping each one feel safe, loved, and ready for their forever homes. I am still a current foster for Wags. I enjoy seeing how a dog shines in their confidence, once finding their forever family! I currently share my home with my own happy Lab/Golden Retriever mix, who adores having furry friends around. I’m passionate about creating a calm, caring environment where every dog feels comfortable and cared for — just like they would with family. Whether your dog needs playtime, cuddles, or a peaceful place to relax, I’ll make sure they feel at home and loved every step of the way. I am a wife and mom. I have one kiddo in college and another in high school. Our whole family is on board with me providing care via Rover!

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is calm and comfortable, and while we don’t have a fenced yard, that has never been an issue! I’ve fostered 14 dogs and cared for our own pets for over 10 years without ever misplacing one. Safety and structure are very important to me — all walks are on-leash, and I’m disciplined about keeping pets secure at all times. Our dog, Luke, enjoys two structured walks a day along the neighborhood trail by the Harpeth River (just over a mile long). He also loves playing fetch in the open space behind our home, where he always comes when called. For dogs who prefer a fenced area, I have access to a secure yard next door, so we can accommodate that need too. I’m home frequently and can easily provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Luke is allowed on the couch but not in our beds — and I’m always happy to follow whatever house rules or routines you prefer for your own pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain their feeding and walk schedule, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. You can count on me to treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I give my own.

My part-time work and stay-at-home mom schedule give me plenty of flexibility. I’m used to balancing family responsibilities and can easily fit in pet care throughout my day. This means I can provide reliable and attentive care for your pet. Whether it's walks, playtime or drop-in visits, I am happy making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for.
