Our home is calm and comfortable, and while we don’t have a fenced yard, that has never been an issue! I’ve fostered 12 dogs and cared for our own pets for over 10 years without ever misplacing one. Safety and structure are very important to me — all walks are on-leash, and I’m disciplined about keeping pets secure at all times. Our dog, Luke, enjoys two structured walks a day along the neighborhood trail by the Harpeth River (just over a mile long). He also loves playing fetch in the open space behind our home, where he always comes when called. For dogs who prefer a fenced area, I have access to a secure yard next door, so we can accommodate that need too. I’m home frequently and can easily provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. Luke is allowed on the couch but not in our beds — and I’m always happy to follow whatever house rules or routines you prefer for your own pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain their feeding and walk schedule, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away.
