Safety is a huge priority for me especially when taking care of other peoples dogs. I have worked with dogs that are anxious and aggressive, so I can take extra care and notice to a dog’s behavior and know how to give them space and make them feel safe.

I would like to know if the dog is at all dog aggressive or people aggressive. Because of my experience at the dog daycare, I have learned to always be cautious about letting dogs interact with each other, so it would be very helpful to know if your dog is at all dog aggressive. If they are, that is okay, I will just be extra careful and sure to not come in contact with any other dogs during walks. I have neighbors whose dog loves playmates, so this could be an option while I am watching your dog, but I would need to make sure a playdate would be safe for both dogs. I would also very much prefer if the dog is housetrained as I am under a lease and also live with roommates and this is our agreement.
A typical day
I live in a big beautiful neighborhood that I take walks in all the time. We would be able to walk all through the neighborhood. There is also a park and dog park near my neighborhood that we could walk to, and I am also in walking distance from the campus of USC, so we could walk through some parts of campus as well. If your dog is okay with other dogs and not aggressive, I have a neighbor whose dog is super friendly and has a big yard and always loves playing with other dogs, so that could be an option sometimes as long as it is safe for both dogs.

I’ve been taking care of others people’s dogs for about seven years now. I truly love and enjoy playing with dogs so I will always treat your dog with love and respect as if they were my own. I have experience dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and roommates both keeping the dog at my house and taking care of the dog at their house. I also have about three years of experience working as a dog walker at a dog daycare/boarding facility. I learned a lot there and got a ton of experience with many different dogs. That being said, I have walked/taken care of almost any kind of dog you can think of! If you are looking for someone caring and trustworthy and also very experienced, I would be perfect. I don’t have a dog of my own, so I am always looking for opportunities to love on other people’s dogs :) Because of my variety of professional and nonprofessional experience, I think I would make an awesome dog walker or sitter.

Abby is a great pet sitter! Our black lab, Mia, and black pug, Georgia, LOVE Abby!! She is comfortable with our dogs and demonstrates this when she interacts with them. They listen well to her and are always excited to see her. Abby always follows through with the detailed instructions we leave- sometimes including giving meds to our dog. We appreciate Abby so much, as she allows us to take vacation and not worry at all about our fur babies!
Abby has taken care of my dog many times and she was perfect. She took great care of my dog and did everything that we needed her to do with no problem at all. I would definitely recommend her!
