I have been dog/other pet sitting for over 7 years in the Chicago area, and many years before that in Indiana. I moved to Kentucky in summer of 2017, and now am making my way round to Columbus. I ran my own pet-sitting business for 9 years, and was a Supervisor at Pet Supplies Plus until April 2017 when an ankle surgery took me out of the hard-floored retail world. I miss the fun of meeting new pets and their families. I am also a Certified Animal-Assisted Therapist and can do some training as well. I am very reliable; my first time pet sitting for a family in 2011, I broke my elbow two days before and still did the job, with the help of my husband Mike! In Kentucky, I was the volunteer Rescue Coordinator at the Mercer County Animal Shelter, and for the 2+ years I was there, I got all the animals there adopted or sent to rescue. I also dealt with EVERY animal personality possible in those 2 years, and am confident in my ability to read their body language and cues. I also have experience with farm animals, including horses, cows, goats, chickens, alpacas, and more. I have never met an animal I didn't like and vice versa. I guarantee you and your pets will love me! Prices for services may be adjusted up or down, depending on your pet's temperament and/or driving distance from my home to yours. Currently, I am working as a Vet Assistant at general practice clinic here in the Columbus area. Looking forward to meeting many new friends in my spare time. Please be advised, due to my working hours on some days, sometimes, my husband Mike will be with me on sitting jobs. He is also my backup if for some reason, I am unable to make it.
