Pet care is naturally part of my daily routine—I start and end my day making sure animals are happy, safe, and cared for. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I schedule my day around their needs. On a weekly basis, I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and consistency, so they feel comfortable and loved even when their owners are away. Caring for animals isn’t something I ‘fit in’—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. Outside of caring for pets, I also do hair!

It’s always helpful for me to know a few things about your pet ahead of time so I can give them the best care possible. For example: • Daily routine – feeding times, walk schedules, nap spots. • Favorite things – toys, games, treats, or cuddle preferences. • Personality – are they shy, playful, energetic, or laid-back? • Health needs – medications, allergies, or special instructions. • Rules at home – furniture boundaries, crate use, or training cues. • Social needs – how they do around other pets or people. The more I know, the more comfortable and happy your pet will be while we spend time together!
A typical day
When I care for pets, I make sure they get plenty of love, fun, and attention! With dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, and even adding in some training games for extra mental stimulation. For cats, I love interactive play with toys, setting up little treat hunts, or just providing cozy cuddle time if that’s what they prefer. Smaller pets like rabbits or guinea pigs get safe playtime, enrichment toys, and gentle attention too. No matter the type of pet, I always keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

This was our second time having Abby dog sit for us, and once again it was a great experience—even for a short, one-night stay. We will definitely continue to use her in the future and highly recommend her to others.
Abby & Kade did a wonderful job taking care of our home and our pets! They stayed at our house for over a week watching our three dogs, chinchillas and bearded dragon, and constantly kept in contact with updates and pictures. We could tell the animals were well taken care of and happy, and Abby & Kade were extremely respectful of our home. We got back from our trip to a clean house and happy animals, I cannot recommend them enough, we will be using their services again in the future.
Abby did an amazing job caring for our dogs. She was easy to communicate with and sent just the right amount of pictures. We returned to happy dogs and a clean house. We will definitely have Abby house sit for us again!
