I've had dogs my whole life, and have extensive experience caring for and walking senior dogs. Does your dog take forever to go? Need someone to give them a med when you're not there? No problem! My dog passed away last year and I'm looking for new dog friends to care for while I contemplate getting another one of my own. I will look after your best friend as if they were my own.

I live about 1 hour away from Abby, and she's now watched our almost 2-year-old dog on several occasions. Millie can be skittish and sometimes afraid of new people as she's a rescue and we don't know what her life was like before we adopted her. Abby has done an incredible job loving on her and making her feel comfortable even when being away from my wife (her primary bond) and me for several days. It is incredibly reassuring to know that not only will Millie's needs be met while we're away, but that she will get alllllllllll the attention she could ever want. Abby is absolutely the dog lover who naturally makes dogs feel comfortable with her. Would I drive an hour just to have Abby watch our dog again? Yes. Would I exclusively use Abby to watch our dog? Also yes.
Abby is fantastic with my girl, Stella. Stella is typically Leary of strangers. She warmed up very quickly to Abby. She takes her on walks and sends me photos while I travel. Abby understands dogs and know how to approach and interact with them. I highly recommend Abby as a dog walker/sitter.
Abby has cared for pets for over ten years, including her own dog Riker. I’ve witnessed her care and patience with both younger and older dogs, and dogs of many sizes and breeds. She loves animals and is a very responsible person. I have no hesitation recommending her as a pet sitter/walker.

I can crate or uncrate your pet, watch them carefully during walks, and keep track of any information you give me regarding their behavior around other animals, or other triggers. I strive to give animals walks that allow them to sniff and interact with their environment while also giving them the exercise they need.

If your dog tends to try to eat things they shouldn’t, please let me know that too! I’ll be aware regardless.
A typical day
I love to give dogs long walks that allow them to get all their sniffs in. We’ll get in plenty of scritches, games, and exercise - and if the pet parent allows - maybe a treat or two!

I currently have a flexible schedule and am typically available for drop ins and walks from 7 AM until around 7 PM. I can sometimes make exceptions, feel free to ask.
