Since I’ll be caring for your pet in their own home, I want to make sure everything goes smoothly and feels as normal as possible for them. It’s helpful to know: Their daily routine (meals, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, etc.) Any medical needs, medications, or allergies Temperament and comfort level with new people How they do on walks and around other animals Favorite toys, calming routines, or things that may cause stress House rules (e.g. allowed on furniture, crate use, etc.) I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from high-energy pups to shy senior cats—and I always take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease in their own space. I’m also happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand so we can go over everything and make sure your pet is comfortable with me!

A typical day with me is all about comfort, care, and fun—tailored to your pet’s unique needs and personality! For dogs, mornings often start with a refreshing walk or some outdoor playtime (if weather allows), followed by breakfast and downtime. For cats, it might be a calm morning with gentle play or window-watching in a cozy spot. I always follow your pet’s normal routine to help them feel secure and at ease. If your pet is energetic, I’ll make sure they get plenty of activity—whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys. If they’re more on the laid-back side (especially senior pets), I provide a calm, quiet environment with lots of love and soft spaces to relax. For puppies and kittens, I stick to structured routines with potty breaks, playtime, naps, and positive reinforcement. I’m also experienced with pets who have special needs—whether it’s administering medication, monitoring behavior, or giving extra comfort and support. No matter what, your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for throughout the day. And of course, I’ll send you regular updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away!
