I work fully remote, so my schedule is 100% flexible. Because I work only with clients in Avondale (where I also live) and nearby neighborhoods, I can pop in as often as you'd like.

I will follow all guidelines and instructions given to me to ensure the dog's schedule and routine are not interrupted while you are away. I strive to maintain a calm and stable environment for dogs while they eagerly await their owners' return. Your dog will be fed, exercised, and given lots of love and attention while you're away (and maybe an extra treat or 2). I also send a lot of text and photo updates to help ease your worry about your furry kids. For first time clients - I provide a free meet and greet to ensure everyone is comfortable

Things I'd like to know before spending time with your dog: how they interact with other dogs (ex: leash aggression), their favorite way to play (ex: tug, chase, ball, etc.), their favorite way to receive love (ex: cuddling vs. treats), and any information that will help me take the best care of your pet while you're away.

Every dog is different! Some live for a long walk whereas others get more stimulation from chasing a ball or playing tug. I'll work with you and your pet to decide what is the best activity to keep them entertained, exercised, and content while you're gone.

My name is Abby and I'm a dog walker and pet sitter exclusively for Avondale, Byrnes Down, and nearby neighborhoods. Whether you need someone to exercise your pet while you're at work or walk, feed, and check-in on your pet while you're out of town, you can rest assured that your pet is well taken care of by someone close by. I live and work remotely from the Concord. I choose to work exclusively with clients in Avondale and nearby neighborhoods so I can pop in at a moment's notice to ensure your pet is safe and happy. My schedule is also very flexible since I work remotely so I'm happy to work with whatever schedule works best for you. You'll receive photo and text updates from me regularly. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind while you're away, so let me help you take some of the worry away! My background: I'm a life-long dog lover. I grew up in a house full of dogs and have been taking care of dogs for over 20 years. I'm 37 years old. I'm originally from Texas, but I moved to the Charleston area in 2017. I'm very active and love to hike, run, ski, and go to the beach. I currently have 1 dog, a beautiful weimaraner mix (Mia) who is 8 years old. She is the queen of the household. Dogs I've worked with: Dog breeds who have been a part of my family include a german shepherd, border collie, golden retriever, mini dachshund, chihuahua, and weimaraner mix. My current regular clients include a labradoodle, labrador retriever, french bulldog, Italian greyhound, golden retriever, and bernese mountain dog, but I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I have experience working with senior dogs, nervous or anxious dogs, and dogs with leash aggression.
