Safety, trust & environment
Having a three legged cat, I keep my cats indoors while also giving them window access to be able to view the outside. I always make sure access points are secure so pets do not escape. I am also adaptable to the personalities of animals. If a pet is shy, I tend to take a step back and allow them to warm up to me, and not act too over eager. I also make sure to reassure pets and give them reinforcement and love as needed so they feel more comfortable. I make sure water bowls are filled, litters are cleaned, and food is served.

Please let me know if there is any specific quirks your pet has that I should know so they are more comfortable with me there!
A typical day
I always enjoy starting off with decompression and sitting with pets as a way to calm down and begin relaxing. Once we are both comfortable, I will either take them outside to play, or find their favorite toys in the house!

Your Fur Baby’s New Friend!
Pet care experience
As a previous vet receptionist, I’m now looking to continue keeping owners and pets happy and healthy outside the practice! Looking to keep you and your fur babies as stress free as possible while you are away from them. Being a cat owner, I love to stay in and snuggle. And being a dog owner, I love to go on outdoor adventures and play a nice game of fetch (or keep away)! My attention to detail will allow me to keep your pet’s schedule on time and make it feel like you never left. Being an animal lover that has worked in the vet field, I am educated on animals and ways to make their experiences as fear-free and fun as possible. I look forward to seeing your fur baby!
Reviews

Abby was an amazing caregiver to our elder high needs cat, Ringo! She did an amazing job keeping us updated, administering meds, and playing with Ringo while we were away. Our meet and greet went perfectly, especially given all of Ringo’s various feeding and medical needs. Her care and love of animals really shines through— in short, Abby is awesome!

Abby is awesome! Abby spent time with to learn our two cats. Abby is wonderful to work with and makes your time away from home stress free. I am lucky to have met Abby. She quickly figured out both of our unique kitties! 🐈 😺

Abby did amazing with Sia! Even though Sia is very shy and doesn’t come out when I got home I could tell she was happy and very well cared for

I highly recommend Abby if you are seeking responsible, loving and reliable care for your pet. Abby followed instructions and took an interest in my kitty. She sent daily photographs and communicated consistently. I will definitely book Abby again.
