I do work full-time (roughly 35 hours p/w) in Notts Train Station with a 7 hour shift pattern. I can attend to animals mornings, and evenings, and I can check on homes during my shift if they are relatively close by.

Safety, trust & environment
I will follow your house rules and make sure doors and gates are always locked, and whenever I have to take dogs outside I will supervise them at all times, and any walks will be on-lead unless instructed otherwise. For other animals (reptiles, small mammals) I will make sure I maintain proper hygiene if I need to enter enclosures to prevent cross contamination of smells and reduce stress.
Information abby b. would like to know about your pet
I am willing to work with all types of dogs, but if your dog is disabled and/or needs extra accommodations, or has certain behavioural issues please let me know ahead of time so I can properly prepare. Pet comfort and care is top priority, so I want to do everything I can to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. If your dog does fall under the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, I am still more than willing to care for them, but please ensure I am able to access their paperwork so when going on walks I can make sure they are safe and protected (I am knowledgeable in the adjustments that will need to be made when going out in public).
A typical day
I would love to take them on walks that can provide them with both physical and mental stimulus. Due to personal health reasons, longer walks can be difficult for myself so I will always try to accommodate this and bring toys to allow them to run around but then not be too taxing on myself. While at home, I would absolutely love to spend quality time with the animals, and will love to play with toys and have as much cuddle time as they would like. I would also love to incorporate some training if that's what you desire, especially with younger dogs, as I know how hard it can be to keep up with training when working full time!

Pet care experience
I have completed a Level 3 diploma in Animal Management, so I am educated on health care, animal behaviour, training and advanced husbandry so I am able to give full and accurate care to dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles (I also know bird husbandry but I can be a bit uncomfortable around birds). I can look after animals at any life stage, including mother’s with young. I am also aiming to return to uni to study Ver Nursing in 2027 During my college course, I also completed about 200 hours of work experience at a dog groomers in my home city, so I have significant experience in basic grooming dogs (washing, drying, nail trims). Though I do not have a grooming licence, I have had practice in trimming paws, ears, tails and hygiene areas. On a personal level, I have grown up with two beautiful dogs, both raised from puppies and they both have had numerous health issues and surgeries throughout their lives so I am confident in caring for sick animals. As well as my own pets, I have worked with and bonded with so many animals at college and would love the opportunity to meet more amazing animals I know how hard it can be to leave our animals at home alone so I hope to bring you and your furbabies comfort and peace while you are apart.

Abby is a sweet young lady! she arrive early so we could provide instructions & care for our girls. Our two small dogs took to her immediately as she meet them with attention & love. We were visiting Nottingham and wanted time to visit the town without the girls. Abby provided love & care! I would highly recommend Abby to care for your animals. 💕
My teen German Shepard has had problems walking and alot of pain so we don’t like the leave her home alone too long. It can be really hard for her to get out and use the bathroom so we really needed a sitter. Abby was great from the moment we introduced her to our dog, she is very responsible and patient with our dog .
Abby is an amazing pet sitter. I have many animals that they watch and they take amazing care of them. Their education with animals makes me feel confident and safe leaving my animals with her. They send photos and videos of my babies and keep me updated through their routine. They always go above and beyond for my pets. She is extremely friendly as well and it shows through their work how much she loves animals and genuinely cares for them. I always recommend them to any of my friends who are looking for pet sitters. They are able to handle all the specifics I need due to the rescues I have and she does it with no issue at all!!!
Abby did amazing watching my animals. She handled Rosa’s energy greatly and snuggled Ellie in the mean time. I hate leaving my animals alone but when I have to I perfer to leave them with her!
