Glasgow Dog Retreat ❤ a happy place for happy paws
We are Abby and Cory , recently married university graduates who are now self employed working from home whilst caring for our four legged friends. We both grew up surrounded by dogs and it's been love ever since. Until the day we find out forever pooch we have loved caring for all breeds big and small with over 10 years experience in dog care serving over 100 happy clients and over 300 happier pups. We are trained in dog behaviour skills having undetaken courses in the UK and abroad. We opened our doors as a doggy hotel in 2015 and haven't looked back since , we believe in giving all dogs we care for the love and attention they require during there stay and make sure they have that home from home environment to help them feel comfortable whilst away from there beloved owners and more than anything we are here to have fun too making sure all pups in our care return home with a smile. We are flexible with work so make sure the dogs always come first and never the other way around. Between the two of us one will always be home so offer round the clock care for your furry friends so you can have peace of mind whilst leaving them in our company. We always recommend meet and greets before hand , provide regular updates and photos whilst you are away and are happy to answer any questions you have regarding the care 🐾🐾🐾 We look forward to hearing from you

Abby and Corey looked after our wee cavapoo well. She seemed happy there and well cared for when we picked her up. We also received updates and photos while we were away. We would definitely book with them again.
Ziggy was happy and well when I picked him up. I felt like I had to chase a little bit each day to get updates, but they always came through in the end along with a photo. Cory was friendly when I met him, I didn’t meet Abby.
Great communication, my senior dog really coped well with their support! Would book again in the near future ;)
Chopper had another lovely stay with Abby, he always enjoys his time with the guys here, they take great care of him 🥰
Merlin has been boarding with Abby several times and we know he is in very good hands there! He is happy when we leave him there, no stress. Highly recommend her!
Abby and Corey were great with Willow. I appreciated their flexibility after having a disastrous start to the morning! Communication was excellent before and during the booking. Willow was reluctant to go in initially as she hadn’t met them before but I got lots of pics during the day which reassured me that she had clearly settled in and was being her usual playful self. She was happy and content when I went to pick her up so I knew she had had a good day. Abby and Corey are a lovely couple and I would definitely book with them again.

Schedule
As mentioned we work from home on flexible schedules so fit our work around dog care not the other way round. We can take breaks whenever required making sure all dogs in our care have the required exercise and walkies which we love just as much as they do.

Safety, trust & environment
We stay in a open plan too floor duplex accessed by elevator with plenty of space for the dogs to explore whilst staying. No where is off limits to our furry guests and we try to ensure they feel as comfortable in our care as possible.
A typical day
We make sure all dogs in our care are provided with regular toilet breaks and walks. We stay local to many parks and like to keep things interesting by taking the dogs to new places to keep them active and provide them with a stimulating and enjoyable stay.
