A typical day
For pups who enjoy socialising and running around the off leash dog parks are always a must! Those pups who like to keep to themselves can come with me on some walks away from the hustle and bustle or everyone else.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been a huge part of my life growing up. Always having a furry friend around allowed me to grow knowledge and to better understand the needs of many different breeds shapes and sizes (making me the pur-fect person to take care of your pup(s) 😆) I joined Rover back in 2023 when I was living abroad in Canada along side doing additional dog sitting/ walking through word of mouth in the town I lived in. Now that I’m back in the uk I would love to continue! I volunteered in an animal shelter for a year whilst in college growing my understanding on the needs of different animals and breeds and also allowing me to learn how to confidently administer medications. (even to those who’s mission it is to make it very difficult!!)

We will really pleased with the service Abbie provided. She looked after our dog within our home, something I was a little nervous about. Abbie was very quick to organise a pre visit where we got to meet Abbie. During her stay Abbie took great care of our dog talking him on regular walks, he had a lovely time, our house was well looked after as well. We would fully recommend.
Abbie was brilliant, looking after Willow during her recovery from cruciate ligament surgery, which involved specific short, lead walks, a selection of daily physio exercises to build up muscle. making sure she didn't run, jump etc and generally keeping her entertained while she couldn't do her normal active walks. I can see a distinct improvement in Willow's walking over this period. Abbie was very flexible in timings, and she left the house really clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Abbie for dog sitting, and I would certainly ask her to help another time. Really pleased with our first Rover experience, thanks. Maureen
