Hey there! *prices may vary, don't be shy to ask!🐾💕 My name is Abbie, I am 30 years young and I have loved and cared for animals my ENTIRE life. I know there is a lot of information, but please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have! I am new to Bentley (and area), so I am looking to make those long-term connections! I am an avid dog lover and have a passion for teaching those who want to learn! Dogs are so great that way, they are always looking to please. Your pups may already know me from the dog park, down by the lake or doggy daycare! When I was a teenager I knew I wanted to help and take care of animals, so I spent most of my late teens and 20s in the animal industry, whether that be dog daycare, animal boarding, fostering with rescues, etc. You name it, if it involved animals, I was deeply involved! ✨️With over 10+ years of animal care under my belt, I am confident in the ability to make long lasting connections with you and your furry best friend. 🐾 I have always been passionate about animals and they have been such a huge part of my life - dogs especially. They are such innocent happy creatures that give us unconditional love, joy and companionship. I love them - and they love me. 💕 House-sitting is one of my favorite services to offer. Your pets get to stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine, and I make sure your space is respected, clean, and well cared for. I’m reliable, responsive, and treat every home with the same care I’d want for my own. I’m also fully open to multi-week stays and longer-term arrangements. I have a huge soft spot for small dogs and senior pets. Their gentle personalities, big hearts, and unique needs are something I truly cherish. Whether it’s extra cuddle time, slow strolls, medication support, or simply keeping them comfortable and happy, caring for them is something I love and take to heart.

✨️I know how stressful it can be trusting your best friend with a stranger. We want you to feel 100% comfortable leaving your pet with us. I am more than happy to meet up prior to watching your pup, just for everyone to get a feel for each other and make sure it's a great fit! I hope that you will place your trust in me! I can assure you while they are in my care they will receive an abundance of love & attention and will feel safe and comfortable. 💕 I will make sure to follow your guidelines in terms of exercise, feeding, medication, treats, etc. ✨️ What does care look like while they are in our home? Glad you asked. While I currently do not have a fenced backyard, this means the world is our backyard. Instead of being put in a fence backyard, every outting is a new adventure. A walk to the new unknown! They are free to cuddle with us on the furniture and we have plenty of comfy places to take a well needed snooze! Your pups will feel right at home here! We treat them as our own when they stay here! ✨️I am home basically full-time, so your pets will have ALL of my attention while you are away. What does my day-to-day life look you may ask? In the summer a day for myself looks like a walk down by the lake or a quick trip to a river or hiking spot. We are trying to get more into camping! We love fishing and exploring new places! All things dogs and people alike thrive for. My partner is a major busy body and always looking to get out of the house. Our winters are a bit more relaxed and looks like walks then coming home to hang out under a blanket with cuddles and a movie. Sometimes ice fishing if the weather permits! Due to just moving here, I don't have a big social life. I don't drink or smoke, nor do I party. My social life mainly consists of sitting around a fire chatting about life. ✨️I promise to keep you updated throughout the day/week & send lots of pictures/videos (I LOVE taking pictures). I am very responsive and always have my phone on me. ✨️With your permission, we are open to taking them to dog parks, dog daycare, to the lake, even the possibility of camping! ✨️With your permission, I'd love if I could upload photos of your animals to build my portfolio on Rover! 🐾💕 ** Please note: • We can only accept dogs 20 pounds and under for daycare/boarding in our home due to building restrictions. We cannot accept cats or dogs who are not kennel trained into our home, for similar reasons. • I have no limitations on housesitting! Thank you for your understanding! Abbie watched our girls for 6 nights while we were away, and she was fantastic. I can’t recommend her enough. Our dogs were happy and well cared for, and we really appreciated all the updates she shared throughout the stay. She also took great care of our home and left everything in perfect, clean condition. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Abbie was here, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have her back anytime.

Abbie took care of our Otis for 10 days. He came home a better dog. He was calm and happy. She even sent us some pictures during his stay. Treated him as though he were family. Abbie provides a service that is good value for the $. I highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of working with Abbie at a dog daycare and can confidently say she is one of the most responsible and loving caregivers. The dogs absolutely adored her, and I would trust her with my own pets in a heartbeat!
Abbie is one of the best dog people I know. You can tell that she cares deeply about the dogs and loves them each in their own special way. She always does her best to make sure they have a fun time and that they are on their best behaviour by correcting them. I would recommend her to any pet owner in a heartbeat.

Schedule
I am super excited to start this next chapter in my life with your furry best friends. It is the beginning of a fun, rewarding, and truly meaningful career that I have been wanting my whole life. I can't believe it took me this long to get the 'ball rolling'... (unintended dog joke). 🥎 I have had the privilege of dog and cat sitting for many friends and family over the years (I was that 10 year old knocking on doors looking to walk dogs or dogsit!) & have received great feedback. There also haven't been many times in my life that I did not have a furry companion to care for of my own. As of now, I have no animals of my own, although we are open arms for the care of yours.
