Dog walking is the perfect combination of exercise, companionship, and helping pet owners feel confident their pets are receiving quality care. I was recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 28 years old and I find most of my comfort with my families dog (Dotty) who I walk everyday. Throughout the day, we spend time outside exploring local trails, parks, or neighborhood walks, depending on the weather and her energy level. I make sure she always has fresh water, plenty of attention, and opportunities for play

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, I understand like people dogs also have different personalities that all have different needs. For example, If a pet is shy or nervous, I'll give them space and let them approach me at their own pace. If they're energetic, I'll make sure they get plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged.

Information Abbi F. would like to know about your pet
Understanding their activity level helps me plan the right amount of physical stimulation. I enjoy letting dogs explore at their own pace. My goal is for every pet to have a fun, safe, and positive experience while their owner is away
A typical day
I enjoy mixing exercise with mental stimulation because a happy dog needs both physical activity and opportunities to explore and use their brain. ( Something I completely relate to). I take Dotty to places like. (Derby Reach dog park, Golden Ears park, Pitt Meadows dykes, Rolley lake).

Pet care experience
My background in caregiving and my natural patience with both people and animals. I understand that every dog has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels. As a parent and caregiver, I'm used to being responsible, attentive, and adaptable. I'm also Pet First Aid certified and committed to providing a safe, positive experience for every dog in my care. As someone who has ADHD and autism, I often notice details others might miss and take routines and instructions seriously, which helps me provide consistent, individualized care. I believe pets are family, and I treat them with the same kindness, respect, and attention I would want for my own
Reviews
Abbi was fantastic with my dog mr snookie, she attented to his every need and looked after him as well if not better than I would! She was friendly, and punctual and overall very reliable I would love to have her walk him again any time! 20 out of 10! ⭐
I have known Abbi for 5 years now. She is one of my closest friends, such a sweet and loving young women that always puts others before herself. If I had to describe Abbi In 3 words, my choice of words would be Responsible, Energetic, and Positive. I chose responsible because of her detail oriented nature and attention to detail in anything she does, anytime I take vacation she watches over my dog and cat for me and I know I can always count on their safety in her hands. For my second word I chose energetic because she never stops moving and is not satisfied by just "laying around". Finally my last word was Positive, this one is a major key word for Abbi's personality. When ever she walks into a room everyone immediately has smiles over their faces and laughing, you can feel her positivity the second you start speaking with her. Anything she does she puts 110% in, she has so many great qualities that I look for in anybody I surround myself with, all these reasons are why she is one of my best friends and I know we will be for a lifetime! She is an overall great person!
