I am a remote worker so I am at home all day to care for the dogs. So walks and doggy activities are planned around my work schedule (morning walks, lunchtime play in the garden and evening activities). My only requirement is your dog needs to be well-behaved during down times as I will need to be on work calls during the day.

I have experience with all sorts of different personalities so will largely follow your direction and usual routine. I know the area well and choose my walks carefully based on how reactive they are with other dogs. Regarding my house, we have a secure garden for them to explore.

A typical day
I love to stimulate the dogs both physically and mentally. Generally I go for a walk in the morning before I start my remote work. The route is dependent on how well the dog interacts with other animals. During the day I like to mentally stimulate the dogs e.g. hiding treats in a towel. Any toys the owner can provide is helpful. We’ll occasionally pop out for an evening walk depending on how active the dog is. And of course I like to end the day with lots of evening sofa cuddles. My routine is really flexible and can be changed based on the dogs needs.

Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs my whole life and absolutely love using Rover as it allows me to spend time with all your lovely pooches whilst I am unable to get a dog of my own. I have experience with many breeds, including Dobermans, Labs, Pointers, Terriers, Cockapoos and Dachshunds and I tailor my approach to each dog’s unique personality and needs. Keeping dogs happy, stimulated and exercised is what I love. From long morning walks to engaging daytime games and evening cuddles on the sofa you can trust your dog will be having a great time and I’ll of course be sending you lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay. I am a fully remote worker so I can offer boarding at my house (provided dogs are house trained) or I can do stays at your house. My partner (also a huge dog lover) will occasionally join me on these stays.
Reviews
Thank you so much! Abbey and Owen have a great dog friendly house and know what dogs need to keep them happy. My older Jack Russell stayed for two days (day care) while I was at the New Forest Show. He had a great time nosing around the garden, playing ball and sleeping...it was great to know that he was well taken care of.

Abbey was fabulous. Gracie was very well looked after.. she cried when abbey left 😘😘 . Definitely would trust abbey to look after gracie again. Thanks abbey x

Nala had such a great stay with Abbey... we had daily messages and photos showing all the activities.... the care and attention were superb!

Abbey gave our pooch a real home from home experience, he was absolutely doted on and we were scared he would never want to come back to us! She took amazing care of him, gave him lots of love and pampering and he had the best time - thank you so much!
