Pet care experience
Friendly active dog sitter
I have grown up around dogs my whole life and absolutely love using Rover as it allows me to spend time with all your lovely pooches whilst I am unable to get a dog of my own. I have experience with many breeds, including Dobermans, Labs, Pointers, Terriers, Cockapoos and Dachshunds and I tailor my approach to each dog’s unique personality and needs. Keeping dogs happy, stimulated and exercised is what I love. From long morning walks to engaging daytime games and evening cuddles on the sofa you can trust your dog will be having a great time and I’ll of course be sending you lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay. I am a fully remote worker so I can offer boarding at my house (provided dogs are house trained) or I can do stays at your house. My partner (also a huge dog lover) will occasionally join me on these stays.

Absolutely lovely dog sitters, highly recommended! Lyra had a wonderful stay and looked happy and relaxed. Will definitely use again. Thank you Abbey!

Kane, Mia and Cody had a lovely time. Abbey and her partner were great, and we received daily photos and videos of the gang hanging out. Their house is lovely, and the garden is totally secure for dogs. We can't thank them enough for taking care of our dogs while we were away.

Excellent service from Abbey. Coco clearly enjoyed her stay as we could see from the daily updates with photos of her activities. Would very happily use Abbey again.

Abi was brilliant she took my dog for loads of walks in different locations and really took care of him he loved her! She was really punctual and flexible and left the house spotless. She also sent loads of photos and updates over the two days 10/10!

Lovely women :) Dogs had an amazing time :) Easy to contact and when the app wouldn’t work she messaged me via what-app to keep me updated :) She sent me action shots of the boys having an amazing time :) 2 happy boys when we dropped off and upon pick up :) Even though she had to get up at 3am and wear them out as they were being hyper in their beds she said she didn’t mind throwing a ball for them till 3:30am then they zonked out?

Abbey had my family cockapoo when we went skiing and Suzi had so much fun with her! Abbey took her on lots of walks on the beach and in the forest and gave her lots of cuddles because she works from home. And we loved seeing all the photos Abbey sent us!

Schedule
I am a remote worker so I am at home all day to care for the dogs. So walks and doggy activities are planned around my work schedule (morning walks, lunchtime play in the garden and evening activities). My only requirement is your dog needs to be well-behaved during down times as I will need to be on work calls during the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience with all sorts of different personalities so will largely follow your direction and usual routine. I know the area well and choose my walks carefully based on how reactive they are with other dogs. Regarding my house, we have a secure garden for them to explore.
A typical day
I love to stimulate the dogs both physically and mentally. Generally I go for a walk in the morning before I start my remote work. The route is dependent on how well the dog interacts with other animals. During the day I like to mentally stimulate the dogs e.g. hiding treats in a towel. Any toys the owner can provide is helpful. We’ll occasionally pop out for an evening walk depending on how active the dog is. And of course I like to end the day with lots of evening sofa cuddles. My routine is really flexible and can be changed based on the dogs needs.
