I am in graduate school and I work part time as a nanny. I am looking for rover to supplement some fun-money and become a highlight of my day! I would be able to care for your pets best in the evenings and on the weekends, and an occasional lunch break! Since my school schedule changes, I’m sure we can find a way to care for your pet as a team!

The pets in my home that belong to my roommates are two playful boys. We have a large-medium sized fenced-in yard. We do not table feed and they get walks every other day to once a day, but their lives are filled with play, snuggles and love. I have worked under a dog trainer and I would love to help your animal become the best pup!

I like to know what you expect out of me during my stay before we meet up. I also like to know how your animal reacts to new people so I can be prepared when first entering your home. I'm pretty flexible!
A typical day
I really enjoy going on walks and stimulating pets with fun games, like hiding a treat under a blanket and having them sniff it out. I love playing with toys inside and in yards! I am willing to play with the pets however they best get their energy out. I am a runner as well, and I'd love to have a running companion!

Pet care experience
I’ve watched a variety of family friends animals over the years, as well as my roommates dogs. I have always reinforced the home rules when caring for the pets. I love to go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, and snuggle with a pup! I have experience with animals of all sizes. I have cared for senior dogs, and I sadly had to let my childhood pup cross the rainbow bridge a short year ago. I understand how special these little guys are, and I’d love to lend a helping hand in making sure they’re cared for.

Abbey was very kind to take care of our five cats. She followed my long list of directions and let me know if she came across issues or had questions. I do wish I could’ve gotten more pictures and there were a few things I had to clean up after we got home. However, the most important thing is we came home to cats that were happy and cared for while we were away.
Abbey stayed in our home with our two cats and one dog while we were away. She was a great communicator and we appreciated the daily check ins and photos. The house was just as we left it and our animals were well cared for. Highly recommend Abbey!
Abbey has owned & cared for her own dog since she was young. This pet and the responsibility nurtured her love of dogs. So much so, that she wants to visit and pet every one she sees. This love of dogs is equivalent to her being responsible. Not just in their care but also for showing up on time and being dependable. Any pet in her care will be excited to see her on each visit.
Abbey is reliable and has a genuine love for animals. She is always willing to take care of my pets with a variety of specifications and steps and I know I can count on her to love my fur babies when I’m not there. I wholeheartedly recommend Abbey to anyone seeking a compassionate and trustworthy caregiver for their pets!
