When living in a small village town in southeast Alaska, I made most of my winter money dog walking and house sitting! I’ve taken care of all types of dogs including high energy dogs, senior dogs, and everything in between! Always happy to discuss details to decide if we are a good fit! Let me walk your pet this winter :)

I prefer to meet your furry friend in your space with you present. I would go through the routine and take notes specific for your pets needs! If your dog has high anxiety, I really prefer to be there the day you leave in order to limit the stress. With lots of communication and consistent updates, I know we can find a care routine perfect for you both.

Abbey is the best!! So thankful she was able to watch my cats. Super communicative and sent lots of pictures.
Abbey was amazing! We have a very high maintenance little Maltese with health problems. Abbey was wonderful with her! She gave her daily meds which include injections, and kept a log for us even though we didn't ask her to. She sent updates and pictures. She left everything very tidy, as well. She's also a very personable, fun person to talk to and we will definitely contact her again when we need a sitter!
Abby took excellent care of Finn. She provided plenty of updates with pictures which made it obvious that Finn was very comfortable with Abby. My only criticism is that she was a little slow in responding to the initial request for pet/house sitting.
Abbey did a fantastic job with my dogs Odesza and Otis. She was very loving and gave them tons of attention. Additionally, she followed up with photos and updates. I would 100% recommend her to anyone on Rover. Great Job Abbey!
Abbey was absolutely fantastic! I have 2 Jack Russells that have high anxiety and have to be medicated when they are boarded. They are generally sooo nervous around new people and my 1 year old chihuahua usually just follow their lead. All three of them absolutely love Abbey! The took to her almost immediately and we’re actually excited to see her come on while we were away! I highly recommend her! She IS the dog whisperer!
Abbey is literally the BEST house sitter/dog sitter you could ask for. She has watched my Lucy for me twice now - once on a drop in visit and once house sitting for several days. Not only did she take amazing care of Lucy (and sent me tons of update pictures) but when I returned home, she had cleaned my kitchen floors and picked fresh flowers and put them in the kitchen!!! How amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone

I have taken a step back from full time non-profit work after recently having my first baby! I am taking some time for my family and to focus on intention during such a beautiful, yet limited, stage of life. I’m hoping to meet some new fuzzy friends to further enrich my creative energy and to help move some of the stagnant energy from my body.

- I like to be aware of all the special quirks of your dog! Does he like to run after cars? Is she sweet with humans but distrusting of other dogs? Does he take snacks off the counter (I’ve got a few stories for this one!)? Is there a certain trick to get her to eat? Each pet is so unique, I want to be able to tailor my services to best suite yalls needs! No detail is ever too silly, or not important—I want to provide a seamless experience for all!
