My summer work schedule allows me much more time to take care of your pets throughout the week and on the weekends! I am working Mondays and Fridays so on these days I won’t be available from 9-5, but am available otherwise.😊

For drop-in visits and/or house sitting, I am comfortable spending time in your home with your pets to keep them company, make sure they have access to what they need, clean up after them, make sure they are getting their medications, etc.! I will be happy to get to know them better and spend time caring for them. I have a lot of respect for the trust it takes to allowing someone into your home, and will treat your space and pets with care and consideration!

A typical day
I would love to play, allow pets to run around in a safe area, or take a nice relaxing walk to give them a chance to get outside. I like going for walks around the yard or neighborhood! I also love spending time with cats, whether playing with toys or relaxing with them.

I grew up with two cats and I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family many times over the past few years, with experience with different sizes and ages. I’ve taken pets for walks, gone to parks, checked in on them throughout the day, and kept them company when they were home alone.

We booked Abbey to check in on our dog a few times a day while we were gone for the weekend. She was kind and respectful and left great notes. I’m giving her only 4 stars however because she accidentally slept in both mornings and was late to let our dog out after all night holding her bladder. I had to text/call both mornings to see where she was. Abbey was apologetic, which I appreciate, but it did cause minor stress while we were away. Otherwise, she was great and timely.
Abbey did a great job taking care of our cat Sally last week while I was on vacation. We could see from the photos that Sally was very happy to see Abbey and was playing with her favorite toys and having a good time. There was one delay in a visit due to unexpected illness and Abbey handled it professionally, made up for it with a longer visit, and I'm pretty sure she even got our cat a small present. Everything was in order when we got back, our cat seemed to have had a good week, and we'd be happy to have Abbey over to take care of Sally again :)
Abbey was fantastic!! We have 3 cats, all are shy and 2 are elderly with special needs. Abbey took great care of them and the house, giving both transdermal gel medications and capsule medications successfully to cats who do NOT love either thing. She took the time to coax them all out and get them to play in a pretty quick window of time. They were well fed and happy cats when we got back! Thank you Abbey, we’d love to have you back anytime :)
