I Love Animals
Hi my name is Abbey and 24 year old animal lover. I have always felt deeply connected to all animals and love working with them. I have taken care of animals since I was young including: dogs, cats, chickens, large geckos, and more. I also stayed on a farm for a few months and cleaned goat and horse stalls, fed the chickens, and played with the animals. I feel most at home with caring and spending time with animals. I live in Grand Junction and I am open to caring for animals anywhere in the Grand Valley (from Palisade to Fruita). While visiting or staying at your home I will hang out with your pets the majority of the time and keep your house tidy. Around new animals I am comfortable and animals are comfortable around me almost instantly. When around new people, I am a bit shy initially but once you get to know me you will see my playful sarcasm and kindness. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
While taking care of your pet(s) in your home, I will give them plenty of love and affection and will stick to any schedule or instructions provided. We have a lot of animals in our home that my family and I love and care for. While taking care of your animals, my pets will not come with me to your home and will be taken care of my other family members.

Abbey did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs for the week! She was super understanding with our shy girl, and was able to make her feel comfortable and cared for during the stay. We appreciate Abbey so much and highly recommend her to take care of your pets!
Abbey was a very caring and attentive caregiver for my three cats. She kept in touch with me and asked questions if something wasn’t explained well enough. She sent pictures of my cats. I felt very comfortable having Abbey in our home as she paid attention to what the cats needed. She let my two cats out that can be very demanding about spending some time outside . She followed directions with having to give my diabetic cat an injection once a day. I would be glad to have Abbey back to take care of my house and kitties.
Abbey has been wonderful house sitting with our dog and two cats. She is always prompt, very caring, and take great care of the house, too. We will be booking with her again!
Abbey was great! She stayed at our house for a weekend to take care of our dog and cat, sent pictures, and gave our dog medication easily! We'd book again!

I recently graduated from school and am looking to work within my passion. I am available any time of the day/week to care for your pets/loved ones, unless I have another pet care obligation.
