I am a Kansas native who fell in love with the Central Coast so I've set my permanent roots here. I work as a labor and delivery nurse in Templeton and love nothing more than helping people and hanging out with animals. When I'm not working I love to get outside and enjoy nature or read a good book. I would love to have a set schedule or just drop in as needed.

A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood and hikes. I love being outside and bringing dogs along with me! I also like a good game of fetch and running around the backyard.

Pet care experience
I have had cats since I was 3 and dogs since I was 12. My dad, sister, and I were very diligent about training our sweet pup, KDog. Now in her old age I have helped administrator medication to ease issues caused by kidney failure. In addition to personal care of animals I have take animal handling classes at Cal Poly for horse and cattle handling. In addition to house pets I have worked with dairy cattle, grazing goats, draft horses, semi-feral cats, and a very sweet guard dog. I now have my own cat, Kevin who is 14. I love all animals at all ages and I would love to give some of that love to your pet!

Abbey did a great job and did exactly what we needed for our dogs while we were gone. We are so happy we found her and look forward to our next trip coming up knowing we have someone we can trust to take care of our dogs !!
