Hello! My name is abbey. I'm using rover to help me fund my cancer treatment! I figured, I LOVE animals, so why not do something that makes me happy to try to help come up with what I need? 😁 Please note, my response time is only low because I went away and forgot to set my profile to unavailable - I respond immediately to all messages! The longest it takes me is 2-3 hours! Ive always been passionate about caring for animals, ever since I was a kid. I used to take care of my families, friends and neighbors pets as a hobby growing up. Since then I have been on and off taking care of people's animals as well as my own. I have a lot of experience with both large and small dogs, timid, friendly and sassy dogs. I also have experience with taking care of cats and animals who have needed medication or special attention from disabilities or age, as well as nursing dogs and their babies too!

Safety, trust & environment
For dog walking-I have knowledge of good and safe leash use, and am always extra careful walking with pets to insure their safety. I have a good eye and great sense of security with animals so they tend to trust me, too. Drop in vists/house sitting- I always make sure the house is clean, and I clean up any accidents that may have happened when no one was there. I will insure your animal is their happy and healthy self, with no behavior changes or worrying symptoms. If anything we're to occure, I would immediately let you know. I make sure they are fed and have clean fresh water. If needed, I will do mild grooming for free, i.e; brushing their coat, cleaning ears, a gentle face wash, just the basics. If you have cats, I will also make sure their litter box is clean every day I come in!

Paid her never responded back and never heard from her again after getting paid. I had to find someone to walk my dog in a pinch because she never showed up or heard back from her again!

Abbey is an amazing care taker for animals of all kinds! She is so sweet and so kind, all of my dogs, cats and rats adore her, even the shy ones! I've never seen my little shy Smokey warm up to someone so quickly, he was in her lap from the moment we left to the day we got home. She made sure the house was just as clean as I left it, and even did the dishes and mopped my floor! She understanding and very patient, works well with all temperaments, was never late on feeding, medication or a walk, took exceptional care of my babies and played with them often. She's my favorite house/animal sitter I've ever had, will always book with her every time I need a sitter, whether it's planned ahead or last minute, she's never failed to make something work!

Schedule
I have a lot of free time, so your pets will receive my full attention and time! I can work days, nights, mornings or evenings.

- Let me know if your animal has any medical needs or specific things that may different from other dog sitting jobs- I have a lot of experience dealing with all sorts or animals with all sorts of needs, but I would like to know in advance better prepare myself. Please also let me know of any behavior issues - that will not sway me from saying yes, as I have experience with shy and scared pets too, I would just like to know before I meet them. My preference would be no shots, but I can accommodate if necessary and know how to do it, I'm just not the biggest fan of needles is all!
