Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I already spend a lot of time caring for and being around dogs in my everyday life. I’m available most weekends, as well as many evenings after work, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to walks, drop-ins, playtime, feedings, and quality attention for your pets. I genuinely enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so caring for pets feels less like “work” and more like something I truly love doing. I’m committed to making sure every pet receives dependable care, attention, exercise, affection, and consistency while their owners are away.

I always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as stress-free as possible while their owners are away. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to follow instructions carefully and give them individualized care and attention. In a client’s home, I aim to keep your pet’s normal routine consistent. Whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, crate routines, bedtime habits, or just extra cuddle time. I love staying active with dogs through walks, outdoor play, beach or park adventures (if approved), and interactive play like fetch or frisbee. For more relaxed or senior pets, I’m equally happy to slow things down and provide calm companionship, patience, and gentle care. I also understand how important communication is, so I make sure to send regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and create an environment where they feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for.

Please let me know if your pet has anxiety or any medications they need to be taking. I want to be as proactive as I can in lowering their anxiety as well as ensuring they take what medicines they need!
A typical day
A typical day with me is full of fun, love, exercise, and plenty of attention! I love taking dogs on walks where they can safely explore, sniff around, and enjoy being outside at their own pace. I also enjoy keeping pets mentally stimulated with treat puzzles, interactive toys, and games that let them use their curiosity and problem-solving skills. Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, we may spend time playing fetch, frisbee, tug-of-war, or simply relaxing together with belly rubs and snuggles. I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, water, and opportunities to burn energy in a safe and positive way. For calmer, older, or more anxious pets, I’m happy to provide a slower-paced environment with gentle care, companionship, and comfort. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, safe, entertained, and loved while you’re away!

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. They bring us so much love, comfort, joy, and companionship, and I believe they deserve that same love right back every single day. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing frisbee, exploring the sand, soaking up sunshine, or curling up for endless snuggles, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I adore dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I always strive to treat every dog like they’re my own. Abbey has been in a family with a dog for all of her life. During that time she has always helped with taking care of walking, feeding, playing and giving so much love to her dogs. She’s had several dog sitting gigs and now even has a sweet puppy of her own who receives so much love! Would definitely recommend Abbey for any of your pet care needs!
Abbey is the BEST! She has taken care of my pup Scout several times over the last couple of years. Abbey is one of the few people that I trust in my home and taking care of my pup. She always sends me a picture of him with updates on how he is doing and what they have been up to. I love that Abbey can stay in my home for the weekend and take care of my pup while I'm gone so that I don't have to board him and disrupt his routine. She always seems to go the extra mile to ensure my mind is at ease while I'm away and that Scout has the best time. I cannot recommend Abbey enough!
