I’m in the office three days a week, but I’m still available for pet care when my schedule allows! While my availability is more limited, I’m happy to help when I can—just reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pup’s needs.

I’m very attentive when it comes to your pet’s needs, both physically and socially. Having rescued a dog, I understand that some dogs might need help with reactivity, health issues, or anxiety. I also know that a routine can be incredibly beneficial for your pet, and I’m more than willing to accommodate that. I’m also experienced administering medicine. If your pet is independent, I can give them the space and care they need. If they are anxious, I’ll make them feel right at home!

PLEASE NOTE: I live with my dog, who is a puppy and loves to play, and my male partner. I also go into the office three days a week. I will not take dogs that are not house broken (of course, I understand accidents happen). :)
A typical day
I’m happy to give your dogs all the attention and care they need —whether that’s lots of attention, enrichment activities, checking out the scents around the neighborhood, going on long walks, or socialization. I am near Stanton Park, Swampoodle dog park, and live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs on Rover for over three years, and I loved it so much that I rescued my own pup, Chili. He came with a list of medical challenges—heartworm, megaesophagus, allergies, GI issues, and anxiety—which taught me firsthand how to care for dogs with unique needs. Whether your pet requires special attention or just lots of love and playtime, I’m here to provide reliable, compassionate care. You can count on me to treat your pet like my own—because I know how much they mean to you!
Reviews

This was our first time leaving our 5 month old pup with a sitter, and Abbey made us feel super at ease with everything. She was fantastic! Great communication (lots of cute photos and a detailed update every day) and Pepi came home happy and exhausted. She definitely misses playing with Hobbes! Highly recommend Abbey, thank you for taking such good care of our pup!

Abbey provided thoughtful updates, and it put our minds at ease to see our dog enjoying his time with her and Hobbes! He was truly smiling in every photo that she sent. He got lots of exercise with her and she was flexible and patient when caring for our friendly, energetic 2 year old. Would highly recommend booking with Abbey!

Another fantastic stay. Chip misses Hobbes already!

Another wonderful stay with Abbey. Chip didn't want to leave when I picked him up!
