Hello! My name is Abbey. I currently reside in the Aldie, VA area. I have many years of both veterinary and pet care experience, and lots of experience with working dogs as well. I am well versed in canine behavior and I am happy to care for your pet no matter what restrictions or special care your pet may have. I am experienced in medicating pets and have a veterinary background as well. I am a huge hiker, and would love to provide services where your pet could come along on hikes with me! I have three dogs and we all live very outdoor and active lifestyles. I am happy to make special accommodations to any and all of your pet's needs!

In my home, all pets are treated like one of my own. I do a crate and rotate situation between the dogs who reside in my home and your pet. I have my own dogs, but I do not typically let my dogs interact with new dogs unless requested by the owner and we have done a successful meet and greet or without permission from the owner. I do not have a fenced in yard, however I do longline walks with all of my dogs and have access to fenced in areas off of my property. I am moldable to your requests and can happily accommodate any and all of your pet's needs within the home.

Any medications your pet may be taking, brand of food your pet eats, amount and frequency you would like me to feed your pet, any allergies your pet may have, behavioral struggles or quirks, things that interest your pet (favorite toys, chews, etc), emergency contacts, and preferred veterinary clinics/ER's in the area if I cannot get ahold of you.
A typical day
I love to go for walks, and I know many enrichment activities for dogs who are higher energy, etc. I am heavy on working with pups who are high energy and have high drive, and even low drive dogs! I love to work dog's brains to tire them out!

I have cared for animals for the entirety of my life and have both veterinary experience and experience with working dogs. I have a passion and deep love for all dogs who are high drive and sporty, and love to spend time in the outdoors with my pets and others. Hiking is my main passion and I absolutely adore giving other dogs the opportunity to stretch their legs and spend time outdoors!
