Hi! My name is Aastha (sounds like pasta) and I will LOVE YOUR PET! I’ve taken care of dogs (and a few cats) of every kind since I was 12 -- that's when I had my first dog walking job. I have 15 years of experience and have volunteered with many animal foundations including (and most recent) Dachshund Rescue Los Angeles where I have taken care of over 10 dogs (that were either abused, neglected, or in the shelter) over the pandemic and got them cleaned up, rehabilitated (often from surgery), and ready for their fur-ever home! Many successful adoptions and saved lives. <3 I'm full-time remote working so your pup will be with me at home throughout the day! I will make sure your pup gets lots of love and exercise every few hours! There is a dog park (literally a 5 minute walk away) that I will take your pup if you feel comfortable! I make sure they feel comfortable as soon as they arrive. I've have introduced lots of new dogs to my home (because of my volunteering with Dachshund Rescue LA) so I want to make sure to let the dogs first smell and explore everywhere they need to to determine this is a safe and fun place for them to be! Our home is over 1200 sq ft so there's lots of room to run around and play -- see photos for details! Also specializing in dogs with special need as well ie. high anxiety, dogs that needs meds, care pre and post surgery etc. Conveniently located at Glencoe and Maxella in Marina Del Rey!

We had a great experience with our Aastha while she cared for our dog, Casper. She was communicative, reliable, and sent regular updates and photos that gave us peace of mind while we were away. Casper was happy and well cared for, and we came home to a clean house and a relaxed pup. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them.
Aastha was an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of senior dog, walking her 3 times a day, making sure she ate and took her meds. She sent us updates throughout the day and we could see how much our dog enjoyed spending time with her. We will definitely book her again! Thanks Aastha!

Aastha is absolutely amazing! She was very easygoing, quick to reply, diligent to follow care instructions and to send updates. I brought my girls back home tired - a clear sign of good exercise. I am for sure a returning customer in the future.
Aastha was fantastic with our dog, Pancake. She was warm, friendly, and communicative from the start, taking the time to make sure we felt completely comfortable with Pancake staying in her home. She took him on a walk to his favorite dog park and sent us plenty of photo updates throughout his stay. It was clear he was having a great time! We’d happily recommend Aastha to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.
Aastha was great with my high energy puppy! I picked him up happy and tired. She’s very communicative and follows any special plans you may have for your pup, highly recommend her.

Schedule
I’m full-time work from home so your pup will be with me through the entire day. I’m an early riser so an early morning walk is my go-to. Would love to take your pup to the dog park early in the morning to get the energy flowing!

Safety, trust & environment
Because of my years of rescue experience, making new pups feel comfortable and safe in my home is my top priority. Dogs need to know they are in safe hands, which requires patience and love in order to build trust.
A typical day
Long walks to the marina and the beach! I love walking and so if your pup does too, we're a good match! I live really close to dog parks and the beach so would love to take your pup there!
