Being a pet parent myself, I understand that trusting someone with your dog means trusting them with a very special member of your family. That is something I never take lightly. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own dog as well as dogs belonging to friends and neighbors, always treating them with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. I genuinely love animals and have a natural sense of empathy for their individual personalities, routines, comforts, and needs. I believe dogs respond best to kindness, consistency, patience, and encouragement. I’m comfortable using positive reinforcement and creating a calm, happy environment where dogs can feel safe, understood, and cared for. Most importantly, I know the peace of mind a pet parent needs when they are away. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is not simply being watched - they are being cared for with genuine affection, responsibility, and heart. 🐾

6 stars!! I just started using Rover and can’t believe my great luck. Aastha was so incredible with my dog. She sent texts and videos and was so loving to my dog. She walked him on a regular schedule and of course has a fenced yard to run around in. Aside, from the great care, she and her family made me feel so welcome in their home. Her family is just so kind. I highly recommend Aastha for all your dog sitting needs!!!

Schedule
I currently work remotely in the IT field, which gives me the wonderful opportunity to be home and spend my days doing something else I truly love being around animals and caring for them. My love for animals goes back to my childhood. I grew up in a home with two German Shepherds and four cows, so being surrounded by animals has always felt natural and comforting to me. I truly believe animals are beautiful examples of unconditional love, forgiveness, loyalty, and positivity and simply being around them brings me so much joy. Today, I’m also a proud pet parent to a friendly, happy Mini Poodle who brings endless love and laughter into our home. I understand firsthand how important it is to know that your fur-baby is safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely cared for while you are away. I look forward to welcoming your doggies into our home and caring for them as I would my own with patience, affection, attention, and lots of love. My hope is to give them a happy, comfortable “second home” experience where they can relax, play, and feel like part of the family. I have a friendly and happy 7-year-old Mini Poodle who would love to be a sweet companion to other fur-babies during their stay. They can enjoy supervised playtime together, leisurely walks, and fun fetch games in our fenced yard - all while receiving plenty of attention, affection, and care. Our home is located in a secure community in East Gate, Chantilly, with 24/7 video surveillance, providing an added sense of safety and peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, trustworthy, comfortable, and loving environment where your doggie can feel relaxed, cared for, and truly at home.

A typical day
Every dog has their own personality, energy level, and favorite way to have fun, so I love getting to know what makes each fur-baby happiest! Depending on their routine and comfort level, our days can include supervised playtime with my friendly Mini Poodle, walks around our peaceful neighborhood, fetch and outdoor play in our fenced yard, treat and positive-reinforcement games, and plenty of cuddles and relaxation time. For calmer doggies, I’m equally happy to offer a cozy environment with gentle attention, companionship, and lots of love. My goal is never to simply “watch” your pet, but to make their stay feel like a little vacation of their own a happy, safe, and loving home away from home.
