Please be assured that respect and safety is at the top of my list when it comes to caring for your pet in your home. I will not bring my own dog while taking care of your pets. For overnight care in your home, I will ensure that a list of rules for both the home and pet is given to me by you, the client, and that I know where things like food, medications (if required), leash, bed, crate and toys are. If there are areas of your home that are off-limits to your pet and myself of course, I will make sure that is enforced. Any schedule that needs to be adhered to will be done. I will regularly send pictures and video updates to you via text! For drop-in visits, the same rules apply. In the case of a reactive or anxious dog, your pets safety and peace of mind is most important. If the backyard is the only way your pet can be outside, I can play and train for mental stimulation within that area! Please message to discuss further. I currently do not offer boarding in my own home, but if/when that becomes a possibility I have a fully fenced yard to ensure your pets safety. My own pup is very friendly, however proper introductions to ensure the happiness and safety of all pets involved is a must!

If they struggles to be outside or around people and/or other animals, I am more than happy to provide them with care and comfort within the home. For any care regarding large to giant breed dogs, feel free to message me.
A typical day
Dogs and cats deserve both physical and mental stimulation! In addition to walks through the neighbourhood, I will play with your dogs in your backyard if you have one! Tug of war, fetch, and scent work with treats are some of my favourite things to do with dogs. On rainy days, things like Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, and puzzle toys are great ways to pass the time. For cats, I also encourage lots of play with toys and enrichment through puzzles and lick mats. As I personally have not had good experiences in dog parks, those are the only places I will not take your dog.

Pet care experience
I am a dog mum, and I've always had a deep compassion and love for animals! I have experience taking care of puppies, adult dogs, kittens and adult cats. I have experience with dogs that have anxiety, reactivity, and health issues such as allergies or those that require daily medication. I currently have a 5 y/o Rottweiler mix named Bentley with my husband. Bentley was a covid puppy, so we trained him ourselves! As such I have both experience and success in teaching commands, tricks, crate-training and potty training. I have also had success in curbing issues like resource-guarding, unwanted jumping, separation anxiety and "place" training. I truly love animals, and nothing would make happier than spending time with them. I would also love to further my pet experience by helping you with yours! Pets are our family and I completely understand wanting the best for them. Sometimes you can't bring them with you, sometimes you just want a break, and that's okay! ❤️ I am happy to help in any way I can.

Aashni was such a wonderful care giver for our dog Millie! She kept us updated throughout the day with photos and texts and left our place just as we had left it. Our pup was sad to see her leave but looking forward to having her care for our home and dog the next time we need a sitter.
Aashni was amazing! She stayed at our house and took care of our two cats while we were travelling internationally for 3 weeks. She checked in every day and sent us lots of pictures and videos. She took wonderful care of our home and even did some tasks she didn't have to do. If I could hire her as my personal assistant I would :)
I had a great experience working with Aashni! She is so caring and treats my dog like one of her own. She is trustworthy, and my dog absolutely loves her! I would definitely recommend Aashni for any of your dog walking needs.
Aashni was the kindest dog walker I've had yet! I had to be away for a week and she would come to my house and pick up my baby and take him for a walk that he absolutely loved! We met before the first walk and my dog who doesn't always like strangers immediately went up to her tail wagging as if he'd known her for years! Highly recommend! Will definitely be using Aashni in the future for any time my pup needs a bit more attention than I can provide!
