I have always been a HUGE animal lover, even before getting a dog of my own. After years (and I mean YEARS) of begging my parents, we finally got our first family dog, Buddy, in 2003. It was one of the happiest days of my life! Fast forward 18 beautiful years and another fur baby (Oliver) added to the crew in that time, our family had to make the heartbreaking decision to put Buddy down. While I miss him terribly, I have so much love to give and I’d enjoy nothing more than to share that love with your pets! I have volunteered at various SPCAs and other animal shelters over the years which was helpful in building skills around working with various types of critters. As my comfort handling animals got better, I began pet sitting, dog walking and doing drop-in visits for family friends and by word-of-mouth. While the majority of my experience is with dogs, I am also a cat lover and hope to have the opportunity to care for both kinds of pets.
