Dogs have been a necessary part of my life since I was a small child, when I dogsat for my neighbor's dog Remy, who would pull me up and down the block on a skateboard. My own wonderful dog family member, Hazel, died after a joyful and love-filled 16 years. We aren't ready for our own dog again just yet, but miss having a dog in the house, so we want to cuddle with and spend time with yours!

I knew right away Aaron was the right Rover for our dog, Tully. He has great communication skills and very detail oriented. We loved getting photo updates during Tully's stay. Schedule
I have been working from home for 20 years, so I am home all the time. When my kids are here on weekends and weeknights, they provide extra cuddles as well.

I have a fenced yard (4' high fence all the way around) that kept my own dog happily entertained for the 12 years she lived in the house. I have a breezy in summer, warm in winter office with lots of floor space for your dog and their bed and toys, so they don't have to be alone at all during the day. Frequent visits to the yard are easy, as it's just a door away.
A typical day
During the day on workdays, we hang out together quietly in the house while I work. We will go for two 20-60-minute walks per day, depending on your dog's desire for a long walk. We also take at least one potty-and-play break in the yard during the day. On weekends, we'll spend more time playing, especially outside if the weather allows, and additional walks if your dog is into it.
