Paw prints make for a happy life!
I grew up on a farm, and we had dogs and cats come and go. At one point, we had three dogs and 17 cats, and it was great company for us and great socializing for them! In the “city”, it’s been more about parks and trails. It has also helped me focus on different needs for different individuals (people too 😂)! I work at home most days, and when the weather is decent, the back door is open and I alternate working outside and at my desk. My weekends are usually spent around my yard/gardens, so my pups hang out near me. I live in a great neighborhood and know the neighbors – who also love pets – and am able to provide a fenced back yard to play or lay! I am very flexible and want to continue your training/parenting styles. If you don’t let yours on furniture, it will be a rule here as well! I avoid crating any animals unless it’s absolutely necessary. I would more likely leave them in a room with comforts to ease their anxieties.

Ratings and reviews
My dog loves Aaron and Mazer. She thinks she is going there anytime I get up early and she watches for Aaron’s Jeep. She is so excited when his Jeep turns into the drive! And I love that he will pick her up and drop her back off at the end of her stay. It makes my life easier.

It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone, and Aaron was great. He kept us updated, and we feel she was very well taken care of.

Aaron is the best for my dog. She and Mazer get along well and Rosie is eager to go there. Aaron also offers drop off and pickup service which simplifies my life.

Aaron is great and took great care of our boy! Thank you!

Aaron is great and my dog loves Aaron and his dog, Mazer

Rosie is always excited to see Aaron. And his pickup/drop off service is so handy!!

A typical day
I always sit with the pups during mealtime to help ensure they eat appropriately as well as protecting any of them from bothering each other. Randomly, usually 3-4 times every day, it's impromptu playtime, so we'll go outside and/or pick a toy or just have time to lay on the floor chatting. Most days, mostly depending on weather conditions, we go for a walk once or twice a day. I only take two dogs (including my own) on a walk at a time for safety reasons. About once a week, we will go to an off-leash park, such as Shawnee Mission Park. If this is not something your pup can/will do, please let me know! Some other activities I've enjoyed with pups: Family outings, including creek/family-owned cave days (people socialization!) Running (typically <3 miles; definitely pup-specific) Park-hangouts with friends and their pups Pup cup trips! While I will always ask if activities are okay for your pup(s), feel free to let me know ahead of time if they are unable to or if you would prefer them to not participate in anything! I also have tags that I attach to every pup with "Sitter" and my phone number on it, just in case!

- Important: Please fill out your pup’s profile. Have they had any previous negative behaviours, including jumping fences, scratching doors, excessive barking, excessive "marking" indoors, defensive/aggressive about food or personal space, jumping on people, etc. Feeding times/amount; preferably, include a bowl and a cup of some sort with food for accurate meal sizes. Individual, separated servings is fine for short stays, but I prefer a large bag/container for any longer stays (help reduce waste!). In either case, please provide more than expected, just in case you need to extend the stay for any reason. Outside activity frequency/time, including walks Treat preferences/limitations Beneficial info that I may ask during the stay: What rules/practices you have at home, including furniture and training/habits; I want to continue those behaviour patterns! What types of toys do they enjoy playing with? My recommendations for a comfortable stay: Bring a blanket/bed so they have a comfort of home if they want it Bring a harness for walks/parks If you/your pup is particular about types of treats, please provide them (I have several kinds of treats but not always for a picky pup) I very much appreciate trimmed nails and at least a quick brushing before the stay (I brush everyone here about once a week as well)
