Dogs bring joy to life
I've had about 30 dogs throughout my life. My last dog Lola was a fully trained service dog. I seem to understand dogs and they understand me. I've never been bitten, and I'm well-versed in training dogs in a very kind and gentle way. I've always dreamed of being a dog sitter and finally, at this point in my life, I have the time to fulfill my lifelong dream. I'm responsible, and physically fit which allows me to handle multiple dogs when necessary. If the owner wants their dog to go on a long hike or a brisk walk it's something I can easily provide. This allows me to work with dogs of all ages and sizes. I've had experience in training many types of dogs including crate training puppies. I specialize in working with larger dogs typically in the 50 to 90+ lbs range. I watch my partner's 90 lbs dog regularly and I also watch two of her children's dogs which are 90 and 70 lbs. I have two daughters who grew up with many dogs from puppies to fully grown rescue dogs. There are many children who have never learned how to approach and interact with dogs. One of my passions is helping children learn how to approach a dog and learn the proper way to interact and get to know them. Especially, those who are scared and unfamiliar with the behaviors of different dogs.

I live in the Outer Richmond. I'm just a few blocks away from Lands End, Ocean Beach, and Golden Gate Park. I prefer to work with clients in the Presidio. Lincoln Park. Inner, Central, and Outer Richmond. Seaclift, Inter, Central, and Outer Sunset. Most of my work is done at the client's home and in the area. I'm very respectful of a client's home and property. My references can attest to the fact that I keep things clean and orderly. It's my policy to leave a client's home exactly as they left it. I have a clean and safe fenced-in backyard. While I live in a large 3-bedroom 2-bath flat I believe most dogs would enjoy the environment around me and not being stuck inside. I specialize in working with large dogs typically between 50 and 90 lbs. I've had well over 30 dogs throughout my life and have trained many of them. I fundamentally believe that a dog should have the most enjoyable life possible. They have a relatively short life span and should be allowed to be dogs within certain limits. In addition, I will always follow the directions given to me by the owner.

Aaron was so intuitive with our somewhat selectively social dog. I could tell he knew how to work with dogs immediately. Aaron also was east to coordinate and communicate with. Quincy can’t wait to stay with Aaron again!

Aaron has taken care of my Labrador Murphy several times. He has watched him for longer trips overnight and also daytime walks. I never have to doubt that Murphy is getting the best care and I always receive pictures :) Aaron is a great communicator and has a genuine love for dogs. He is my go-to sitter and is very reliable. Aaron has been an incredible dogsitter for our golden retriever, Billie! He is attentive, responsible, and clearly loves animals. Billie is always so excited to see him, which says everything about how comfortable and cared for she feels. Aaron is a trusted friend and someone I completely trust with my dog. My dog is a large 90-pound dog, and Aaron has cared for and walked her many times. He is calm, confident, and clearly comfortable handling a bigger dog, which gives me great peace of mind. He’s incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I always know my dog will be well-looked after, safely exercised, and given plenty of affection when she’s with him. Tidsplan
I'm primarily a writer and still do some IT Consultant project work. Taking care of dogs gives me the freedom to do the two things I love the most. Writing and hanging out with dogs. I have the freedom to be available when needed by the dog owner and have a very flexible schedule.
