What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my love for each pet and my commitment to identifying their individual habits and quirks. From a young age I've been caring for animals, from chickens to huskies. I've cared for and fostered multiple cats and litters of kittens that were then adopted out. Seniors to kittens and puppies, I have 20+ years caring for cats and dogs with all different needs. I understand the deep connection between a person and their little one, so let me keep your fur baby company while you're away! I currently have a 7 year old Border Springer name Hiro and we love to run and hike. I'm a great fit for an active dog that needs exercise while you're out of town. If the pet is fit and well mannered I would love to take them on one of our many amazing trails here in the PNW while I house sit. Hiking with the pet is contingent on the owners preference and the specific pet.

Aaron was a great sitter to both of our cats! He took the time to learn how to use both an inhaler as well as brush our other cat’s teeth who has juvenile gingivitis. He was really easy to get a hold of and we would definitely book him again!
Treats are pups with love and care always. Jase is the best!
Jase took the time to really get to know our pup and let her warm up at her own pace. Now they're best buds! He was fantastic. :)

I only recently moved to Portland so I'm in the middle of trying to figure out this city. I'm happy to take you pet for a hike or for a walk around you neighborhood. Whatever is most comfortable for the pet. I'm a very active person and frequent the gym, but if the pet is able I do enjoy taking them out on hikes and walks frequently. I currently do some freelance video editing so I don't often need to leave, unless going to the gym or out to get some nature footage. Hopefully if I'm sitting for you and need nature footage though I can just take the pup with me to the trail.

When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize their comfort and routine. I follow their established feeding, walking, and play schedules closely. I ensure the environment is safe and secure, providing plenty of affection and attention. Regular communication with the owner keeps them updated and reassured about their pet’s well-being.
Pets
A typical day
For dogs a lot of fetch or tug of war depending on the space. I also love hiking and depending on the health, car comfortably, and temperament of the pet I would really enjoy taking them on a hike. For cats I always carry my trusty laser pointer and some string! If napping and getting pets is more their vibe though, I can handle that as well.
