Every day with pets is an adventure! I love tailoring activities to each pet's personality and energy level. For dogs, we'll enjoy leisurely walks exploring the neighborhood, playtime in the yard with fetch or tug-of-war, and plenty of belly rubs and cuddles on the couch. I'm happy to accommodate their routine—whether that's morning zoomies or afternoon naps in a sunny spot. For cats, I'll engage them with interactive play using feather wands or laser pointers, provide exploration time, and of course, lots of petting and lap time for those who enjoy it. I grew up with all kinds of animals and understand that each pet has their own preferences—some want constant attention while others prefer a calm companion nearby. Throughout the day, I'll make sure they get mental stimulation, physical exercise appropriate to their needs, and plenty of affection. My goal is to keep them happy, healthy, and feeling loved while you're away, maintaining their regular routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable.

I also babysat a beagle every summer for years, so I'm comfortable with different energy levels and personalities. What sets me apart is my empathic approach and genuine understanding of what dogs need. I can read their body language and moods, whether they're anxious, playful, or just need a calm presence. Being retired means I have an open schedule and plenty of time for walks, play sessions, and just hanging out together – your dog won't be squeezed into a busy day. I know that every dog is an individual with their own quirks and routines, and I respect that. Your dog will get my full attention and the kind of care I've given my own pets for years.

Aaron is an exceptional cat lover! When my cat Stuart needed daily medication, he was the only person besides me that Stuart trusted to give it to him. While Stuart was terrified of wind, Aaron actually earned the privilege of giving belly rubs – something Stuart had never allowed anyone but me to do! Aaron has also been invaluable in helping me track down my adventurous 3-year-old cat, Whinny, on multiple occasions. He truly cares about the animals he works with and has a special gift for connecting with even the most cautious or independent cats.
