Aaron's Dog Boarding
Hi, I'm Aaron and I'm pleased to offer dog boarding services. Although I have none of my own, I've been fortunate to live with dogs and cats in a variety of situations and locations. I've also fostered cats for a local charity. I enjoy bonding with all kinds of animals and I've exercised horses and cared for ducks and chickens. I've house/pet-sat for friends and strangers who've become friends. I have a terraced house in Staple Hill (BS16) with an enclosed high-fenced garden. I'm a few minutes walk from Page Park but also enjoy walks around nearby Overscourt Woods and (disused) Shortwood Golf Course and surrounding fields. I have a spacious estate car that can cater for muddy and excitable pups! I work very flexibly from home and so whilst with me in the house your pet will have as much attention or calm as it needs. Aaron was brilliant and would highly recommend ⭐️ He provided regular updates and photos whilst we were away to give us peace of mind and he also gave Norman a great holiday 🐾 it was a particularly tricky week with the scorching heat but Aaron managed this well with dawn and dusk walks and cooling river dips 😂 Norman had come back happy and content. Aaron looked after our two dogs for a week , he luckily was able to step in when the dodgy care we had had planned let us down with relatively short notice. We had lots of updates while we were away and both dogs seem very happy . Would definitely recommend and would 100% let Aaron look after them again.
Aaron looked after a dog whilst we went on a weeks holiday, he took great care of Bodie and sent me many updates during the week. Super happy with the service and will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you!
Second visit for Jelani but his first successful boarding experience. Aaron provided me with daily updates and Jelani appeared content in his care.
Aaron welcomed Jelani into his home and provided great company. It was only for a few hours as it’s only the second time I’ve left Jelani but he was well cared for and Aaron provided updates. We will definitely be booking Aaron for our family holidays!
Myla had a lovely couple of days whilst with Aaron. Aaron provided daily updates with photos, and kept us in the loop. Will definitely have Aaron look after Myla again!

I have a terraced house in BS16 with a secure and enclosed high-fenced garden which your dog can access any time during the day.

I'm a few minutes walk from Page Park but also enjoy walks around nearby Overscourt Woods and (disused) Shortwood Golf Course and surrounding fields. I have a spacious car that can accommodate muddy and excitable pups!

- I have looked after dogs with behavioural issues before, but it isn’t my speciality, and after a few more challenging stays I now have to be more selective. I don’t offer training. I also can’t take dogs who bark or howl when left, or who bark at night — a quick yap at the postman is fine; ongoing barking isn’t. My garden is reached by steps, so I can’t take dogs who would struggle with those either. Please get in touch first so we can check whether I’m the right fit for your dog.
